In fact I wonder if this is not an attempt to execute a 51% attack? We don't currently have to worry since pool.dero.live now has >51% of the network hashrate, but that is not the usual case.
dero.live on its own chain, no gaps between blocks: http://pool.dero.live/#pool_blocksexplorer does not show its blocks either
Yeah, I was just about to update my previous post that the last payment from the pool apparently failed:

probably need to spread the hash around a bit instead of concentrating it all on one pool.

No, most likely not. I'm getting alternative heights of up to 41770 in my node. >200 blocks is quite the large difference. Are private pools causing the divergence?
Yes, private pools may very well be to blame for the incessant forking. In fact I wonder if this is not an attempt to execute a 51% attack? We don't currently have to worry since pool.dero.live now has >51% of the network hashrate, but that is not the usual case.

Other cryptonote is also frequently fork.
Now it's not uncommon.
Because I saw it , I tried to report it.
Anonymous coin has many scam and hackers.
The trouble will not go away.

Serena, would it be possible to prepend [ANN] to the beginning of this thread to make it compliant with the standard of the announcements thread? Personally, I tend to mentally filter out threads here that do not have [ANN] as a prefix.

Yep there is a planned GUI wallet a little later in the roadmap. Right now the team is getting fairly close to releasing the beta version (currently pre-alpha) of derosuite for wide spread public testing so that's the main focus once the recent hiccup is fixed.
Adding the GUI wallet for the Dero team is comparatively easy when compared with the public derosuite progress made to date so you can expect a GUI wallet coded from the ground up when it's launched.
