I'm running it in linux, without any fix at all, and it's been running (ENABLED) for more than a day already. So I highly doubt there's any problem with it at all

that's the best thing i've heard all day. appreciate your attempt to resolve. i'll even donate some coin to you if you get it up and running. Might also be good to make it configurable, I know VIVO coin is having the same issue. Or at least open source it and get some contributors to the fix as well.
