Why the swap-bot is down?
When will burn the old coins?
I have locked coin for 2-4 months, lost it?
If you have a deposit of XDN locked for a period longer than 6 months, please contact our team on our Discord channel for assistance (
https://discord.gg/4dUquty). If you have coins locked for a period of less than 6 months then you simply need to wait for them to be unlocked before you can swap them. The coin burn details are in the main thread and in the whitepaper, the period is 6 months for users to swap their coins (end of October as of now).
The swapbot is down because the old network is fragile and needs to be patched. The swapbot itself is solid and works well. Hopefully this is the last patch we need to push for the old chain. This issue arose from users trying to mine on the old network for some reason, which caused a fork which consistently crashes the old network at a certain block height (the reward is 0 XDN, you should not be mining on the old network for any reason). We have fixed the issue and we are testing the patch, and with this patch users will not be able to mine on the old network. The team will handle the mining of the old network to facilitate a smooth swap process for everyone as users move to the new chain from here on out.
I have some coins in the new wallet, but my staking weight is allways the same, it won't increase over time, why?
In staking we all know that the ones that have more coins will get more, but if our weight does not increase over time, than people with less coins can just forget about staking
Please clarify this issue
Hello, your staking weight will depend on how many coins you are staking. It will not increase by itself unless you have more coins. Your staking weight is then compared to the network-wide rate to give you the appropriate reward. If PoS is not giving you the return that you wish to see, I would recommend that you mine via PoW. It never hurts to leave your wallet open for staking 24/7 though...that being said we will work to improve the system and we appreciate community feedback so that we may do so. We will also make the "staking time" (ETA) more accurate in the status bar of the wallet.
The wallet synchronizes for a very long time, and constantly writes (does not respond), what should I do?
Hello, I assume you are talking about the old wallet. This is an issue with the old wallet only, and only for Windows users. We have a guide in our #links channel in our Discord that will give you some advice on the matter. We wish to patch the issue, but for now Windows users must work around the hangs (aka, send their coins in between hangs) until it's patched. Please note that you DO NOT have to be synced to send a transaction...so do not worry about syncing your wallet to be able to swap your coins (as long as you are synced high enough to have access to your coins). Also please wait until the old chain is patched before you try to send funds around again (should be today or within the next few days). Please visit us on Discord to stay up to date as the information there is always current and fresh (
