This is again unfair to regular miners Huh

u sold ur dmd cloudmining shares
and u dislike the reactor idea

thats fine both are projects independent from wallet code and  play with same rules than everybody else

but if u think u have to be a preacher against it then u have to go with facts and not nonsense
(additional think how it looks to a new guy who join our community when he read all u rants
it doesnt feel u make the diamond shine more bright instead more like u throw dirt on it)

that reactor make it more difficult to stake for others is just wrong

its not new coins or new coin age

if they coins would not  get coin age and try to mint them away in reactor

then the coins would gather coin age and try mint them away split over a lot wallets

thats the same am or even a bit less competition for pos blocks
(a bit less because now only one wallet instead of a lot try to mint the pos block)

people who dont take part in dmd cloudmining or dmd reactor (which is a add on of DMD Cloudmining)
have no negative impact of this operation for them

but they profit from a lot of positive effects that are created by dmd  cloudmining

This is again unfair to regular miners Huh
IRL many can not afford to invest large $.  I started in DMD with V1 before staking even worked Smiley
De-centralization is key to popularity and I will not subscribe to a central bank.  Even if my coins take several weeks to stake they will be in my personal wallet, however I think reactor has broken that by having high stake-weight which is unfair to ALL who do not join.

Sounds like the Smith's marketplace spiel cashiers spew about "devilmart" LOL

How is this unfair to anyone? It s as if you have 1 S5 miner and mine with it and I come and purchase 5 S5 miners and mine more then you do.
Then you come to me and tell me it s not fair. It would be unfair if the reactor would not be open to everyone here or if there would be any kind of selection between DMD users and supporters.

Whatever funds you people have available, you can easily calculate and decide where to invest them and what to purchase. You chose not to go with the reactor and instead mine with your own gear, that s fine by me. I used to have 23 GPUs in 7 rigs, mostly 280x, 270x and 7950. It was fun at certain points but all in all it was full time work managing those. I am much more happy with cloud mining.

I'm starting to lose faith in DMD when short-sighted pump-n-dump, gotta have immediate profit, I'll follow the rest of the sheep types, spewing the same over and over step in. Smiley
(I just love a good slam LOL, never mind a FLAME, not needed) Smiley

What good is holding DMD if after 30 days u gain no further interest yet your stake weight is not high enough to even mint from these coins Huh
food for thought Smiley

Over 1k staked coins inside the reactor. I hope now people see this reactor project is an excellent idea which s already started generating results.
I strongly suggest people contribute to the reactor and buy cloud mining shares. Once we reach block reward reduction, the coins from DMD cloud as well as from the reactor are going to be very, very, valuable source of income.
I have not even looked yet but so far what I see is yet another method of centralization which is bad (WTF are u a banker ROFL), for me I am seeing much longer periods between staking in personal wallet.

Hehe, as a matter of fact I am a banker in RL. Smiley))

I think you miss a big picture. Some time in mid April, when the block payout gets reduces to 0.1, dividends from the reactor will not be affected cause they do not come from mining but from staking.
This is going to be a great source of additional income for people involved into it. Not to mention that 70% of staked coins get disbursed to cloud mining shareholders while 30% remains in the reactor which additionally increase the amount of coins in the reactor as well as future staked amounts.

Perpetum mobile, the best kind of deal.

Looks like more pumping on cryptsy ... no worrys my BTC sit patiently waiting for things to settle again ...
To the fools who pump-n-dump your short term gains are nothing compared to when golden age ends and DMD shows true value by being rare and expensive Smiley

difficulty multiplier ... see past few pages
also pool is stratum+tcp not http pushpool, only pushpool availlable is danbis's
AFAIK CPU miners still use http protocol ...

I tried undervolting the R9 290s and it caused instability problems almost immediately.  Even minor reductions in voltage made the cards unstable.  But GPUz indicates the 290s are already using a lower core voltage than the 280x (1.12 - 1.18 vs 1.20).  Perhaps that's why even minor changes on the 290s cause problems.  By the way, I was able to adjust both cards voltages with MSI Afterburner (after flashing the 280x BIOS).  It has its quirks but it worked.  For some reason with multiple GPUs, afterburner has problem dealing with the GPUs individually.  I change a setting on 1 and it changes for all cards or at least it displays the same setting for every GPU.
I have instability probs on 280x if ambient temp gets too high, might have to raise volt from 0.997 a bit higher, LOL every time I go take a nap and turn off central air circulation for apt it has crashed when I get up... never seems to crash when I'm up with lots of air moving ... Meanwhile 7950 keeps chomping on neoscrypt blissfully unaware 280x had crashed.  (I run 2 instances of sgminer)
Can u say EXTREME overclocking and undervolting Smiley
Only reliable way to tune cards individually is by BIOS mods ...
In your case it may have to be done with only 1 card in a box so it can be identified and tuned individually but all cards are different, the quality factor of GPU which can be found in GPUz will give u an idea of how far u can push it Smiley
Once each card tuned u can put back into community Smiley

@DMDcreeper
have a look VBE7 (google it) dunno if it will work on 290 but u can major OC card by reducing temps of mem.
I am running 1180E/150M on 280x with low volt mod also ...

I had been considering this for some time so your suggestion pushed me over the edge.  Thanks.  I flashed the BIOS on the 280x reducing the voltage and the card runs substantially cooler and saves about 40 watts on power consumption.  So far its stable and running about 7 degrees C cooler with the same fan settings.  I reduced the speed of the fans and its quieter and still 3 degrees cooler than before.  I think I can reduce the voltage even more but I will let it run for a while and see how it works out.

I have not tried it with the R9 290s yet.  I need to do some research on that first.   I think I can get the same results from them but I want to be sure first.

I'd have to say yes I am greedy and want to own as many DMD as I can, but the time is coming where we must go mainstream with DMD, sure there are a few of us who have accumulated large wallets Smiley

Well, yes, I agree. Unfortunately, I ll have to let other people scoop some of DMDs as well. Smiley)
I chose to release ultra groestl kernel at this time because only a month or so left for golden age ... now is time to get us in mainstream. I can remember several PR releases in DMD history, would have to look for them ... How far from the 2.25BTC to get a 3rd party to work on this, and what effect do you expect, this is going to take some major polishing ...
(hehe I'm the little guy on pool but that's all I can afford to operate).

Additionally all DMD related webpages must be accurate.  They are going to look at all DMD sites and base the PR on what they see.
Death of wafflepool went ignored for a month or so, keep webpages updated.  I notified popshot of this and was ignored Sad

So shave, get a haircut and put on best dress LOL

agree remember when I got upset about 0.00050 break ... Let's keep it low so new entry into DMD can get in reasonably.  Indeed we are a small community and need some PR, please do whatever you can to boost DMD interest Smiley
If I could I would donate to PR but like I said, retired, limited income Sad

New entries?? Who cares about them

Nah, DMDs are all my precious!!! MINE!!!

Smiley
ROFL
all mine are the precious

I have to say this DMD those bring the worst out me. On one side, I want to go and tell the world about it. On the other side, telling the world means there s less DMD for me at these, still cheap, prices.
So I want to keep it to myself, my precious coins. Just like the ring from that small movie.

Does that make me an ass?
