What kind of efficiency are people getting with this miner and 1080ti's?

I'm typically getting 3.6-3.8 sols per Watt with EWBF.

It's going to depend a LOT on where you set the card and if you are aiming for max efficiency (I can see over 4.1 sol/watt with EWBF on my Aorus or Windforce 1080ti cards at +100 core +150 memory 150 watt TDP for about 620 sol/s) or for hashrate (Aorus can hit 780 sol/s at 250 watts, and over 800 at 275 watts) or for something in between.

Yes, you're right. With EWBF, I typically achieve;
EVGA OC Black - 180W to get 670 sols (3.7 sols/W)
MSI Duke - 180W to get 670 sols (3.7 sols/W)
ASUS ROG STRIX - 180W to get 650 sols (3.6 sols/W)

New Version 0.5.3
cpu: reduce cpu load
con: fix recon loop
con: network latency measurement
ui:  add accepted/rejected shares ratio
ui:  add network latency
ui:  add information about selected devices

I'm uploading this one earlier than planned since it contains two major improvements - slightly reduced cpu load and a fix for recon - thus it doesn't contain everything you requested/suggested yet.

I've added new stats to the terminal ui. There is more information for share transmission now - it looks now like this:
Code:
Sh:

System crash AMD A4 6300 + 6x 1080Ti

It was probably because of CPU usage.

Hi broth...

I'm just running ur new version, I'm so far is amazing...

I got in shot when I saw the statics from my cards
I tested it with a gf970 and gf 1050ti

the increase in the 970s compare with the ewbf algo was of maybe 5% to 7% overclocking the cards
EWBF=290 sol/s    ZM 300 up to 310 sol/s

but the best performance was get it on the 1050ti with a increase of a 15% to 20% superclocking it compared with the ewbf algo.

EWBF =180 sol/s     ZM 200 up to 210sol/s

and the best part was getting the same watts consumption.

well done broth

Thank you for nice miner.

Is there any monitoring program for multiple rigs which is supporting your miner, like this one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/windows-mining-monitoring-tool-v2-beta-open-beta-1448855

Any plans to add log file?

Thanks, I have figured it out now. Trying the latest version on a test rig. The readme file that came with it is comprehensive.
There is no intensity parameter or anything else that we can adjust ourselves for fine tuning? Not that it would be required, the windows interface is not lagging or anything like that.

thanks dstm for this new version 0.5.3 - no recon error so far !
nice that you added --time flag
would it be possible to add also a running time info in the webinterface and maybe even manufacture of each card like other miners like ccminer do ?

http://fs5.directupload.net/images/171026/9tonmy5x.jpg

Can someone explain (see screenshot) why my EVGA Cards show so different values for sols/w and watts than my Zotac Cards ?
They all running on 55% TDP and eg these 1070s are on nearly same results.
It seems to me that all my EVGAs are on wrong numbers cause even a powermeter displays values like the zotacs.

Thanks for a nice miner, I confirm the same 5% performance increase on 1060 as others have reported.

What are the plus signs in the output of the miner? Do they represent submitted shares?
It's the amount of found shares during the last round.

Can we have the amount of submitted shares in the miner window as well, not just in the terminal?
What's the miner window for you and what's the terminal? Looks like a typo Smiley
There are a lot numbers now Smiley I've added accepted/rejected ratio of shares.

Sry for this, I'll release 0.5.3 earlier than planed due to this - however it won't contain all the requested adjustments. I'm expecting to release it tomorrow.
Hi dstm,
any news on 0.5.3 ?
would also like to use your miner but get quite often this reconn.. error

SHA1 checksum didn't mach for me - for win and linux.
Anyone else with the same problem? Or just the dev forgot to update the checksum?

Checksums are for the executable itself since e.g. pools might repackage zm.

Hello, currently testing your miner without telemetry.
Hope it will reconnect automatically after losing connection from pool.
Will leave it like this for a period of time.
Also would like to ask you, I'm using 384 and 385 drivers.
Is there any recommended driver to improve hashrate?
Can I use 388?
cheers

375.66, 384.90, 387.12 perform equal on linux.
I had no time to test driver performance on windows yet.

@dstm: First of all thanks for your hard work.

Secondly, your miner started erroring out after a few hours please see below. Any ideas?
https://pasteboard.co/GQ46rCZ.png

Thx for reporting, this is a bug - will be fixed in next release.
Damn, it's getting worse and I'm not sure why. Its crashing like every 2 hours... Once it crashed the whole system starts lagging like there is no tomorrow. Does this happen with the linux version as well?

Is it crashing or do you get an recv error?

I get the recv error, zm does not exit just keeps running like there is no tomorrow. I assume after a while there is memory overflow or something and windows decides to die. It will pose a problem when I'm not home.

Hi @dstm , i just wanted to say that indeed your miner performs better that ewbf on a Win10 system of 2 GTX 980 Ti , but unfortunately i got the same error as this guy after approx 4 hours of BTCZ mining.
I didnt notice my CPU usage , but i was mining with XMRig simultaneously .
My system is overclocked on a custom water loop , CPU is an i7 5820K OCed @4,3 and both 980TI's are also OCed by MSI Afterburner at +135Core/+100Mem ( 85% TDP ) giving me a total of 930Sol/s ( approx 460 each ) with your fantastic miner Smiley .

The cards are EVGA GTX 980Ti Supeclocked , which means that they are also OCed by default compared to other GTX980Ti's

If TDP is at 110% i am getting a solid 1000-1020 Sol/s from both .

But since it crushed i was forced to go back to EWBF which -right now- gives me with the same settings a total of  :

Temp: GPU0: 73C GPU1: 71C
GPU0: 453 Sol/s GPU1: 445 Sol/s
Total speed: 898 Sol/s

Just for referrence, EWBF was maxing out at approx 960 Sol/s ( 110% TDP ) , +135Core/350Mem

I believe that we would all be grateful if you fix the problems mentioned by myself and the rest ppl , since you indeed have built a better Cuda Miner!!!
Congrats again!

I'm getting about 5 per cent or so extra on dstm's miner, so all looking good so far! Smiley

To get more mainstream appeal to ewbf, you could look at things that make the screen 'look nice'. So for example, adding some colours, showing when you get an accepted or rejected shares, that kind of thing.

I know it shouldn't be important, but it does help having all this info readily available on the miner screen.

But great work, it gets the extra sols and that's the main thing for me! I only wish I knew how to do something like this!

DLL is missing? why? Huh Huh

I think you mean vcruntime140.dll , i had same problem with few rigs. Follow the steps in this youtube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R3LuYNQf98
