While using suprnova.cc I noticed that the "retry on connection problem" isn't that reliable. Doesn't matter if it's a pool- or a miner thing, but could you make it configuable to just exit on error.

Thought I'd share some OC settings after running a few tests

These are for 1070s running on nvOC v19

  • Power Limit: 118w
  • Core Overclock: 110
  • Mem Overclock: 600

With these settings I'm getting the following results on a 7 GPU (4 different 1070 models) rig...

Avg. Sol.   3146.0
Avg. I/s     1683.8
Avg. Sol/W   3.82

Temps are between 49c and 61c with fans at only 48%

Note Version 0.4.4

For people that rely on temperature control:
The temperature controller might work not properly.
I'll provide an update soon.

EWBF uses same setting, different syntax.

Very strange, could you pls try without --temp-target.

Would it be possible to statically link openssl-1.0.0? Having really hard time under fedora 26, they ditched 1.0.0 in favor for 1.1.0

My early versions used 1.1.0, I had to downgrade to 1.0.0 because ubuntu still uses the old version. I don't really like to link it statically because of the security implications and licensing. It's pretty easy to compile 1.0.0 and use LD_LIBRARY_PATH until ubuntu finally updates it's libraries. If there are any difficulties I might provide a version which is linked against openssl 1.1.0.

That's what I did man, but it's still not working

Code:
# ./zm
./zm: /lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by ./zm)
./zm: /lib64/libssl.so.1.0.0: no version information available (required by ./zm)

root@localhost stan]# ls -al /lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 19 ceп 21 14:32 /lib64/libcrypto.so.1.0.0 -> libcrypto.so.1.0.0i
[root@localhost stan]# ls -al /lib64/libssl.so.1.0.0
lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 16 ceп 21 14:32 /lib64/libssl.so.1.0.0 -> libssl.so.1.0.0i

I'll compile a new version against openssl 1.1.0 and pm it to you. I'll come up with a better solution later.

Much obliged

Can i include linux version with EthControl Linux when it's done? (https://ethmonitoring.com/site/eth-control)
Yes

Also windows version, when you release it. Is there API support coming?
Windows, I'll start working on it soon. API, do you mean something like RPC to get stats? If this is something that people would like to have I'll implement it.

API for stats info yes, to get GPU temps, fan speeds, hashrates for remote monitoring. I can help you with that, if you have any questions let me know.

Running 0.4.4 for about 5 hours now, so far so good.

Is there a reason the GPUs slowly change order in the output, can they be fixed in place instead so always output in order 0,1,2,3.... etc.?

The GPU that finishes first prints it's output first, they are all independent. So you're able to see how things actually behave on your system. This can be changed if it's important.
