@DSTM
I use your miner since the begining.

For information : with the last version, the 6.1, I have some disconnections by my pool (4 or 5 since the release of this version, the pool is SuprNova) that I haven't with previous versions. I am back to the 6.0 : not matter.

My Request : I am a BTCz supporter and I mine only this EquiHash coin, not others. This coin will fork on sunday because the ASICs. The fork is a variant of EquiHash : ZHash. It would be nice if your miner would be ZHash compatible. If not, I will mine BTCz with an other miner, but I would be sad to leave you ;-).

anyone else noticed the price drop in zec. how low will it go with asic mining taking over?

Yep.. both my miners are almost 1000 sol/s lower.. but the graph on flypool looks higher.  Not sure what is up.

I bet Nviidia is in on this too.  Why would they not be.   They want us to buy newer cards to drive up their stocks, especially since it's a slow time on their graphs on the 'in between' of new cards coming out.

0.6.0 works great with simplemining on various pools. when i try to use 0.6.1 it does not seem to work very well. most of the cards are under performing by quite a bit. any ideas what is going on ?  all the same 1070 8gb cards and overclock settings

It will be great if you adapt the miner to ZHash.

You must be aiming for conserving power because my 1070 ti gets 560ish souls 194/900 89% TPD 4 souls/watt is nice tho i guess

Yup.  Trying to keep the Efficiency high.  Doesn't make sense to burn more power these days for a few additional Sols.

Hi DSTM! can I find out if Zhash(144.5) support will be and how soon?
ZHash is a new algo made by the BTCz decentralized team : it is a equihash variant (more ASIC resistant than the currents versions).
It would be possible to make ZM compatible.
I join the question of ZHash support (Equihash 144,5)
We should pay attention to this algorithm as it will be popular, except for BTCZ it is implemented by BTG and I suppose that ZCL too can pass to it, the developers of BTCZ previously cooperated with the ZCL team ...

Hi DSTM.

Is it possible to use same GPU numbering as system (Linux for me?). Its too hard to identify GPUs if a GPU throws an error.
Also, is it possible to keep the old format for --temp-limit NN to apply it to ALL GPUs?

Thanks!

Try run with config file, without additional command line params.

I just tried it with this line in the zm.cfg file: intensity=0:0.5

Its still around 25% loaded with about a quarter of the Sol/s.

I share the same here.

Hello DSTM, what's new to expect from v7.0 ? You saw a tablet for GDDR 5X? It is impossible to use it for Equihash in dstm ?

Anyone else having an issue with the --intensity setting or am I doing it wrong? No matter what I set it at, my GPU is around a 25% load.

I have a single 1070ti Founders Edition and I've tried "--intensity=0:0.5" all the way up to "--intensity=0:0.95" and it's still around a 25% load.

Try run with config file, without additional command line params.

For example (from my config file):
Code:
intensity=2:0.90

and run
Code:
./zm --cfg-file=zm.cfg

ive been trying to troubleshoot problemati gpu(s) in dstm 0.6.1 with SMOS, and it seems like 1 or 2 of my cards have issues so im using "--dev 0 1 2 4 5" to run all but one card at a time

however, its resulted in the console outputting only the stats of gpu#4 line after line. no stats are given for the other cards or overall hashrate

i should be getting 1600-2000sols if 5 cards are functional - and i do seem to get that poolside, but the lack of console output makes tuning tough

UPDATE: running either card 4 and/or card 5 alone reveals that both work terribly (either giving only stats for one gpu, or doing nothing at all except getting difficulty changes and rebooting.

i know the cards are problematic, but in windows they cooperated at aleast - i dont know what the issue is here (swapping risers is my next step)

Yeah, you gotta go through the power cable swap,.. riser swap steps.  I ended up getting a different power supply and it fixed all my woes here.  (thermaltake much better than evga here)
And make sure you give enough time for the card to be recongnized.. almost 5  to 10 minutes sometimes.
