That's a beatiful idea and a natural conseguence of the fact that Dusk has own blockchain, with a smart contracts enviroment and an ecosystem made of security tokens. Maybe in the future you can also think of a cross chain DEX is it will work well enough

I believe so, because in that case Dusk wouldn't be offering the tokens to them, but it is a secondary purchase. Not legal advice!

Dmitry Khovratovich joins Dusk Network!

Dusk Network is proud to announce that Dmitry Khovratovich, the inventor of Equihash joins Dusk Network as Lead Cryptographer.

As a cryptographer, Dmitry is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg, and author for the International Association for Cryptologic Research. He developed the Equihash Proof-of-work algorithm which is currently being used as consensus mechanism for the ZCash cryptocurrency, and the Argon2 key derivation function, which won the Password Hashing Competition in July 2015.



He is the publisher of several Cryptanalysis papers for a number of mainstream cyphers, such as the first cryptanalytic attack on full-round AES-192 and AES-256 which is faster than a brute-force attack, an attack on the Radio Gatún cryptographic primitive, and also the current best cryptanalysis on Skein, a candidate for the SHA-3 competition.

In 2014, he published research about the deanonymisation of clients in the Bitcoin P2P network.

Dmitry has broken a number of ciphers and hash functions and is quoted: “Give me a system and I will find a weakness”. He is also the author of the Guru reputation system that Dusk Network will employ to ensure convergence of voting in the shortest amount of time.

Random selection of investors is an excellent strategy for attracting attention and values to the project, but in that way I think it limits some large investors to occupying only one place with a pre-set amount. Will users selected in a round be able to compete in a new round?

I guess you're pretty sure you were going to overcome the previous limit to make this change. Reaching that amount would be a great achievement in the current market.

All these countries are excluded due to legal reasons. I'm not sure what you mean with that last question, if a country is excluded they will not be able to invest with any amount of Eth.

Ok, i get the United States but some countries i see there, don't have any problem with crypto as far as i know and any other sale is letting them attend. Also besides United States are the other counties can't buy from private sell with greater amounts than 100 eth? Like Canada or Serbia?

The investment barrier up until this point guaranteed we are talking to professional investors with reach in the industry and specific added value. This guaranteed that the time of the team was spent efficiently. Right now, we are helping out a real estate fund in Malta to tokenize their security and organize an STO.

No one has received a discount. Everyone is subject to the same token price of $0,0576.

But people from those mentioned countries are allowed to buy tokens later on exchanges?

They are specifically excluded. Even if there were an illegal workaround, Dusk could not tell you how to cheat the system, because it would be in fact illegal.
In short: No there isn't.

It could be that there is a surge of investor's interest to the project and I admire their confidence on making that decision though I'm also quite contemplating on why they've done it which is a bit unusual.
