Since this is a research project do you worry about how long it can take to achieve some of the items? Do you have any concerns that the timeline can get stretched out much longer than the planned roadmap?

Nicolas Cimon joins Dusk Network as Strategic Advisor

We are delighted to announce that Nicolas Cimon, Managing Director of Cross Border Consulting, and former Senior Associate in Securities, is joining the Dusk Foundation as a Strategic Advisor for the Dusk Network.



Nicolas Cimon has 20 years of experience in the legal and consulting business working in Canada and Europe and serving clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Nicolas worked as a securities lawyer for Ogilvy Renault (now Norton Rose Fulbright) in Canada and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in France. He was involved in major initial public offerings of securities, issuance of debt and hybrid securities and takeovers of publicly listed corporations in Canada, US and Europe. In particular, Nicolas was involved in the IPO of the pan-European exchange Euronext. As a consultant, Nicolas is executing strategic recruitments for international law firms, investment banks and leading blockchain technology companies.

Nicolas graduated in law at Laval University in Quebec, Canada and completed an MBA at Laval University and Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in Argentina. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

The Dusk Foundation will benefit strongly from his expertise as a legal counsel in the securities industry to navigate through the different legal systems and setting up the standard for a decentralized privacy network and Security Token Offerings.

The reason to why it was deleted had something to do with the image, it was re-uploaded a few minutes after 

The whitepaper is technical because we're a research project about an advanced blockchain protocol. We can't show an MVP of sorts as that would have no meaning to us. Nowadays most whitepapers are full of buzzwords. Dusk research paper is exactly the opposite and way more advanced. It goes to a great extent to describe accurately the technology used and the algorithm. You won’t find details of business development or even use cases. This is because it is intended as a development manifesto (a proof of concept - similar to what an aforementioned prototype or MPV would prove) of a complete system with all components laid out and specified quite formally.

We have released a mini series on Medium called "Dusk in a nutshell" which covers some of the more technical parts in the whitepaper and explain them in a somewhat easier manor.

This is just so sad. I don't know who relies on these rating websites. They have some sort of algorithm that is far from covering all potential factors that contribute to a success of a project and they think they can produce a trustworthy opinion. So misleading sometimes.

To be honest i don't care what Icobench says anymore after they praised and promoted hashrental scam and then quietly removed it after the ico.
And only 4? Dusk is a 5/5 anyway in my books.

I think he will contribute to the project by sharing his experience and expertise on his previous jobs which is quite relevant.

From the background, i can say its a huge addition to Dusk network. They will explain his role in the project in further messages i think.

I saw news that former General Manager of BitPay and Mastercard - Marcel Roelants joined to Duck project. Can you explaine in which role he joined? (which position he take in your project) ? And link to Medium does not work anymore... why?

There are still no experts/people giving it a rating, the ico profile rating is from the icobench bot right? So i think the score will change later if people giving it rating.

Yeah, previously, at the bull run, the really good marks started at 4.2-4.3. Now, it's lower because not so many successful projects appear.

i also believe that this project is basically a research project so very complex, i hope the team is able to complete it and offer a high quality network with unique features...
