Couldn't it be possible that DUSK has already silent agreements with projects that are potentially interested in using the DUSK platform? Even though the main net hasn't been released yet. I mean, they probably can't disclose these information.

This media release is good for project visibility and awareness and I thought it might boost the crypto community's interest on DuskNetwork. However, it could be much better if the project did conduct an aggressive marketing campaign on social media platforms aside from online articles which I'm sure that it could result to a better turnout during the project's fundraising campaign. Imho.

I dont think being part of the test net would bring any monetary reward, would be just for trying and testing it

the reward would be knowledge that it works properly so you invest into something safe.

Having a test net would be very critical to the development of this project and its a great tool to make the project more solid. I assume the community would have the chance to try it or is it for the devs only?

The more people involved in the test period will be good since people can give their feedback based on their experience and I think it can be more accurate.

I think you will have to be hand picked to join their test net in the beginning, which would be logical for them to get a quality feedback from different experts.

For example, have there been clients who were drawn by the prospect of an anonymized communication channel for IoT? Or decentralized video conferencing?

Sure, you need to have some kind of technical background. But I wouldn't say that only coders or experts can find bugs. It can also make sense to let a wider audience check the code because "two heads are better than one".

this would be an good idea to open the testnet as well as experts and also to all users so they(team) can compare many feedbacks, and then i think more people try it more easy to find out any bugs...
