BTC is bouncing on the 3.x level ... it happened twice already so that does seem like a bottomed out value.
It also calculates to the -80+% drops we have seen in the past.

I think it is impossible for an new project to achieve mainstream adoption. Especially when not even BTC has done it.

Its basically impossible to predict now because it sure doesnt feel like its gonna end, especially if you are holding a lot of bitcoins. You can feel there is a lot of pessimism going on right now and i just hope Dusk team are resilient nought to go trough that.

The idea is that what your data is safely transmitted rather than being anonymous. At least this is what i got by readings the purposes of the network. Correct me if im wrong.

I think it's a contradiction: KYC and anonymous network.

Why do you think it's a bad thing that token transaction on the Ethereum blockchain are public? I really like that transparancy where you could follow the money in detail.

Public transactions are unacceptable in regulated markets. Think about the consequences of moving millions on an exchange wallet. Even without selling a single asset, just by broadcasting such a tx on an open ledger you can manipulate the market and induce panic selling in a way that is completely illegal.

I am not sure how DUSK can limit someone from creating a token on its platform. How would anyone know beforehand that some token will be shit?

AML/KYC registration is build into the blockchain.

That is an interesting point. I think DUSK started as a secure and private communication network, think anonymous Skype, then they figured out it could also be used for financial transactions and tokens. They seem to have focused on the latter though.

Really, there are ton of financial products already. We are practically drowning in them. Part of the problem that caused the financial crisis in 2008 was no-one understood what they were getting into anymore.

What do security tokens really add to the world that we do not already have in one way or another?

Coinbase is an exchange and they want to launch trading security tokens while Duck want to launch ititial security token sale and tokens creating on their blockchain like ERC tokens on Ethereum. So they are not a competitors... As Duck not going launch exchange Huh

For a long time didn't understand what the ducks got to do with this, but obviously you meant dusk Cheesy

. I don't know if they have planned something like that but there is a possibility that switcheo dev would be interested to run it top of dusk. That would be a basically same thing.
