A partenership doesn't make sense now, Switcheo is a NEP5 dex (they announced ERC20 as well or it was another NEO based dex?), it makes sense if Dusk will grow it's ecosystem

They were exploring the possibility of Switcheo running on dusk platform. Does that make more sense? But i would not draw any conclusions from that. Even though it's a delicious thought.

It's very early to talk about partnerships, they need to complete ICO and raise a substantial amount of money for further prosperity.

I fear that the EU will regulate more than the US as this is the case with most fields of regulation.

I thought the same, they are slow and sluggish, but when they wake up from their technological hibernation,
they can be very mean-looking and bureaucratic.

I am sure European projects are aware of that and they have a perfect opportunity to learn from what SEC is doing to American projects. Right now they are less strict but who knows when they will start implementing similar strategies.

The only problem with sec is that once it takes a position, it may happen all other similar organizations within other countries will follow that line as well.

ETH is also a utility token and the SEC has said they would not interfere if the ETH ICO was today because it complies with their rule. So Dusk should be fine indeed.

Never trust the SEC. Today so and tomorrow so ... It's better to be carefully.

Yeah they can turn around very fast if they see something they don't like.
But as for now, DUSK and Ethereum are safe ..

Yes, they are their advisor and partner. And as devs said Switcheo will help DUSK develop own decentralized exchange for own internal tokens on Dusk blockhain.

True, but just saying it is a utility token doesn't make it one. Ethereum was most likely a security at the time of the offering as well, but because the platform is now so decentralized it no longer is. Unfortunately the succes of DUSK is still 100% dependant on the developers/team of DUSK, making it centralized and in my opinion a security in the eyes of the SEC. Question is: are they offering to US investors at the ICO?
