POS is working fine, at least for me. I think the only think that doesn't work good is that "expected time" indicator. You should just leave opened the wallet and wait. I got another POS block before.

have had the wallet opened for the last two hours, with the info saying new PoS block should be generated in 1 second.

could you please also provide the simplified Win wallet?
This one should work for everybody. Do you have any problem?
Downloaded the blockchain anew, staking icon is active, but haven't received any new coins yet (my weight is 16k vs. network's 400).
How long have you had the wallet opened?
I have generated 2 POS blocks
I have same issue that still is not receiving stake. I think dev will have a look at this.

For safety. Backup your old wallet.dat
1. Go to c:/users/USERNAME/AppData/roaming/ebolashares (or if you are using MAC: /Users/Library/Apllication Support/ebolashares)
2. Copy the wallet.dat file somewhere else safe, desktop for example.
3. Download latest version of Ebolashares wallet.
4. Execute ebolashares.exe and wait. Probably you will get an error, open it again and let it sync.
Thats from the op, name your .conf as ebolashares and add inside this nodes:
