dev account only has 5,xxx ella as of now. that's a really small amount.

So they better get their fingers to code harder, and make those 5K worth much more! Cheesy

It will also grow as price rises and whales donate some back Smiley
Wow, that's not much ... get those donations coming Smiley

HI everyone,

been mining ella for a while and i'm all in for the project, genuine decentralization, and no premine and all, but for the development of the project the developers need to be paid and imo donations would not cut it> devs loose interest after a while (with low monetary gains) > no development and the coin fades away.

Can anyone here clear this doubt of mine as to how this will work out? i seriously doubt donations would work for long-term development considering there's only 5,xxx ella since september in the Dev development account (or maybe i'm wrong about this number?).

But if that is the case, can we as a community chalk out a plan to bump up donations so that its worthwhile for the devs to keep up the developments and take this project where we visioned it to be? what are you're thoughts on this?

Pools are routing a big chunk of their fees into the pool and community funds already Smiley

@devs please find a new name asap.

The community actually loves the name... so don’t see that happening
Agree. Now "Ellaism" is a brand. But should we leave "wei" as the smallest part of Ella?

Yes, the "Ella" part of the name was the reason I devoted one GPU to mining ELLA on the first day it was announced.

One of the best decisions you could have made this year. Best would have been devoting ALL your GPUs

I know. For the first few days there were like only 5 or 6 miners on the dev's official pool. Unfortunately, I spent most of my hashing power on Signatum instead at that time. Compared to the launch of those you-know-what coins, so far the dev of Ella has done a wonderful job of starting small and gradually building up the community. Let's maintain this path of steady growth. I'm sure we will be the turtle that win the race rather than a high flyer that crash and burn.

Or maybe the Blastoise using Hydro Pump super effectively type of turtle Cheesy

*People already mining start to cry due to the increasing difficulty*

Lol right, it’ll come but this coin deserves the world we can’t  be too greedy and keep all the coins for ourself Cheesy, this truest form of decentralization can be a game changer.

Now is a great time buying

I tend to agree Smiley especially with the thin sell walls, plus we've already broken 4K so that psychological barrier has been broken.
