I copied this message from Reddit:
I'm really interested in DNA (Encrypgen's token) Here's why:
-v1 product launched this month, you can now upload your genomic data (23andMe tests for example), and sell anonymised versions of this to researchers
-Already has genomic data uploaded to their blockchain controlled marketplace, trades of this data are being made across the network
$20b industry, expected to double in coming years
-In discussions with major genomic labs to rapidly increase amount of data on the chain
-Already partnered with companies like sequencing.com who intend to use DNA tokens in their marketplace
-Growing consumer concerns about companies like 23andMe selling their data to big pharma, Encrypgen allows consumers to own their data and be rewarded if they choose to.
-In discussions with VC funders to accelerate growth now they've proven their capability to build a working blockchain product
-It's an interesting blockchain utilising business designed to challenge 23andMe's business model. There's lots of focus in healthcare on precision medicine being developed, and genomics will play a massive part in that. That's why GSK are partnering with 23andMe, and why Genentech pay millions for data from them. Encrypgen allows you to control who has access to the data, and ensures you receive the bulk of the profit for each time you sell them access to do (unlike 23andMe).
Note - They were just delisted from KuCoin because of low trading volume. KuCoin asked them to pay BTC for 'market making' to keep them on the platform (a bribe). But they refused, as all money is going into development. Cryptopia now the only real place to buy.
actually, listing in one decent exchange is already enough. so if topia is still there, thats great. theres really no need to bribe anyone. good decision to develop their platform. if they have something to offer to their clients, thats much better than more exchanges but without product to offer. exchanges will follow if your product is successful in serving your customers
