The MyGene-Chain app portal will launch out of its private beta phase and into public beta this coming Monday 19th February. Keep an eye on Twitter.

"In re: "marketing" and our product: the product is for labs, researchers, those storing and searching for genomic data, so the marketing we are focusing on is not going to be seen in most usual channels. Our team has been diligently researching and filling our CRM with contact info, now of over 2000 prospective users of the product, all of whom will be contacted with invitations to try it, to download the gene-chain lite, and to upgrade to licensed versions. I have an upcoming interview for the New Scientist, and publications like that will be the most likely fora for standard advertising. As for the My Gene-Chain portal, when that is up, we also have a campaign for the general public to begin using it. We are all in this to get the Gene-Chain populated and used, and for $DNA to flow as the currency of the system."

As I said some weeks ago this token is a long therm investment.

2. there will be a radio spot on canadian state news show ‘Spark’ on CBC. Spot will go out over weekend 17th/18th. TV spot likely mid-to-end March.

- Recently incorporated as C-corp in Delaware (more flexibility for use of crypto, more attractive for VC's)
- Created UK subsidary (good for team there, and for UK/EU trade)
- New employee in dev team, to be revelaled next week
- New website coming next week
- MyGeneChain portal not launched yet, improvements in quality required. Privacy and security guarantees being strengthened, as well as user experience improvements following beta testing. Very close to launch.
- Talk at Festival of Genomics was educational, not a publicity talk. Well attended, but audio only through headphones so difficult to create
- New business development and VC contacts from the event, very encouraging. Will here more from this as these become more solid and confirmed agreements.
- New alliance with sequencing.com and Genomics Personized Health are extremely exciting. Encrypgen will be providing the blockchain infrastructure for data. They'll be looking to use the DNA token for purchasing services with them.
- New data platform interested in blockchain, but don't want to start from scratch. We'll be looking to work with them to support this. Early stage discussions, but encouraging.

1. Sequencing.com

My take: These guys are already Microsoft partners and take data from the likes of 23andMe, Ancestry.com and the like and allow you to analyze it with apps provided by Sequencing themselves. It appears from the press release that Ancestry will be integrating the Encrypgen token directly onto their ecosystem. This could position Encrypgen as the DNA industry standard exchange token.

"That is the central goal of the partnership between Microsoft and Sequencing.com, a platform that allows users to store, analyze and share their genetic information. Simply put, the platform enables individuals to upload their genetic information — generated via Helix, 23andMe, Veritas, Ancestry.com, National Geographic, HLI or any other source — to Sequencing.com and use their personal information in health and wellness powered by Microsoft's cloud."

2. Genomics Personalized Health

My take: These guys are into the more higher end full genome sequencing whereas 23andMe are more into looking at specific parts of your DNA. Personally for me this is what I was waiting for as it opens up the gateway to paying a little more $$$ to have my full DNA analyzed and assessed. Again my assumption is that the partnership will allow for this data to be directly uploaded via the Encrypgen Token from GPH.

Hi, the website appears to be down for me. As a result I can't find out more information about your project..will this be fixed soon?

So far I have not heard back from the support. I wonder why noone is talking about it. It was a major glitch in their system and some people lost a lot of money.

I see a great progress with Encrypgen now. Good exchanges and media promotion have done their work and the exchange rate of DNA tokens has grown significantly. This company have a bright future and big success.
