This coin have a low value because is very easy to mine it (even with a low end cpu) the total supply is huge, and like the dev said the reverse ico was another thing that keep the price low. maybe it will be aother swap in the future ( i think 50 million is a good total supply). any way i'm wathing this. good luck!
We don't want to do anything quite that drastic nor do I personally believe it is required.
Also, DOGE has well over 100 Billion and still worth more
so count doesn't really come into play.Truly as we continue to build features and in general build on the coin and refine it, value will come on its own.
All in all this is the plan right now:
1. Update to PoS-v3 (will be done within the next couple days)
2. Make the final change to the diff retarget so that PoW blocks are easier to find (Will be done alongside of PoS-v3)
3. Drop the PoW reward down and implement superblocks, this will increase the mining phase significantly.
4. Introduce a Netcoin style PoS weight curve (so that users with lower amounts of ESP will stake alongside bagholders making it more fun and "fair")
EDIT: After this, we'll actually introduce messaging and such. Yes... FINALLY
and don't forget that also ESP will have masternodes

does staking work? i hold about 40 but no blocks found for 2 days
PoS is working, just not leveled out at the moment, give it some time. I staked yesterday 4/17 with 4 million coins successfully.

Yes you are right about doge coin. And the Netcoin pos thing sounds good for the "poor" stakers.

We're in touch with them don't worry.
They will need another fork, to go full POS. Espers is doing well, making noobs excited about the future and the past. Those that live in the present know that nothing could bring a decent volume to espers land, unless a delusional market maker that survived a car accident and got a hypothalamus damaged, emerges as a new patron to espers.
Sorry you feel that way, however that's fairly delusional thinking. There have been numerous times coins have risen up from nothing, do you also not recall the GIANT airdrop in the beginning? still a lot of those coins floating around, so once the availability comes down as more people pick up Espers the value will come up on it's own.
Besides as stated before this is NOT a short-term coin... But thank you for your insight.
Also, we're not going full PoS, however we will be fixing the diff one last time to make PoW more of an available method. Small tweaks and such are still needed. C'mon we're in Alpha, way to reign down on a project that is still in infancy lol.

what is your latest client version?
You do not have the newest wallet.
You are stuck because Wallet version v0.8.6.0 was a mandatory update, it was a softfork at block 667350. Update your wallet and all should be fine.
