Hi everyone!! I'm in the opposite part of the world for work and I could't follow the news, Have I to take back my coins from yobit and Cryptopia? Thanks guys!
That would not be a bad idea at least. Otherwise you are putting your trust on those exchanges. Of course you can do that if you trust them. I've lost my trust by some unfortunate incidents.

So generally, can we have a mining thread finally, please? Sure there isn't much that would be left, but questions like the above would, and there wouldn't be much left that I don't like to read because it doesn't concern me. This thread should be reserved for project-related discussions. Mining is not project-related itself, it's some kind of hobby for people who like fiddling around with source code and graphic cards. Well that's not for me, I have no idea of graphic card internals that's why I don't concern myself with writing optimized miners. The project source code is public, everyone can write their own miners for it. I mean that's the beauty of a decentralized currency, right? The more effort someone puts in, the more value he gets. The value is built by people proving that the algorithm cannot be exploited to more than a certain extent, which reflects inversely in the amount of coins generated. Project developers even paid big buck for an optimized GPU miner to release it
for free (which might be a debatable decision in the context of the last pages of thread here, but it's a thing of the past), yet this has been left unacknowledged by some ignorant people here, insisting on their childish claims to have everything served for them for nothing.
Project related things do belong here, developers whose job is to develop the coin belong here. Miners and people trying to write optimized miners, or people trying to use them, should go to their own thread and discuss their own issues there. Just my 2 cents.
