why would i donate to a rich man?   haha  Grin

no but thats cool man, how you get them all, mostly buys or mining? cpu? gpu? at what rates? Wink

just curious. Smiley

~Patiently Awaiting PoS or ESPERS~

I have about 30.000.000 from cpu mining on my laptop. Got the rest on novaexhcange. Bought most and gained some with trading. With that amount u can control the market. Buy the lower sell orders and place them in a new higher bid. Same for the buy orders. But withdrew all to my wallet to get ready for the swap. Maybe i will buy some more. Would like to have 1.000.000.000. ;-)

nice, good job man.

Take example guys, make the best of what you got, and make smart trades.
prob much more effective then crying everything's unfair anyways ;p

PM me your ESP addy, ill throw into your "like to have a billion"  Cheesy

Having a mining thread would be a good idea, but I have a feeling that it would not deter people that keep posting about it here from doing so.

If when they post here they only get a link to the mining thread instead of a proper answer, they will soon migrate there

There is already a ESP mining thread people:

How long start to swap proces? What conversion?
CryptoCoderz said they are working on it, time to go is maybe one or two weeks. The conversion is 10:1.
waiting for the implementation i think this would be the great moves coming from the dev and the supportive community.
good luck and i wish you luck crypto.

So generally, can we have a mining thread finally, please?

Having a mining thread would be a good idea, but I have a feeling that it would not deter people that keep posting about it here from doing so.  As a result, the team has occasionally felt the need to respond which is what spurred the mining discussion of the last few pages.  A constant bashing of the coin based on the "unfair" mining has to occasionally be responded to otherwise the occasional onlooker only sees people bashing the coin and project and will likely not research it further to see if it is interesting based solely on that.

Hi everyone!! I'm in the opposite part of the world for work and I could't follow the news, Have I to take back my coins from yobit and Cryptopia? Thanks guys!
That would not be a bad idea at least. Otherwise you are putting your trust on those exchanges. Of course you can do that if you trust them. I've lost my trust by some unfortunate incidents.  Undecided

So generally, can we have a mining thread finally, please? Sure there isn't much that would be left, but questions like the above would, and there wouldn't be much left that I don't like to read because it doesn't concern me. This thread should be reserved for project-related discussions. Mining is not project-related itself, it's some kind of hobby for people who like fiddling around with source code and graphic cards. Well that's not for me, I have no idea of graphic card internals that's why I don't concern myself with writing optimized miners. The project source code is public, everyone can write their own miners for it. I mean that's the beauty of a decentralized currency, right? The more effort someone puts in, the more value he gets. The value is built by people proving that the algorithm cannot be exploited to more than a certain extent, which reflects inversely in the amount of coins generated. Project developers even paid big buck for an optimized GPU miner to release it for free (which might be a debatable decision in the context of the last pages of thread here, but it's a thing of the past), yet this has been left unacknowledged by some ignorant people here, insisting on their childish claims to have everything served for them for nothing.

Project related things do belong here, developers whose job is to develop the coin belong here. Miners and people trying to write optimized miners, or people trying to use them, should go to their own thread and discuss their own issues there. Just my 2 cents.

I didn't receive any offer from Wolf0

It was posted by Wolf0 when the miner was first launched and all this crazy garbage throwing began.
Would you like me to let him know you need help?

EDIT: Or PM him.
yes i would, idk if he will be able to access my computer

PMing you, our previous response is about 2 pages back
i received a message from xtrembash

Xtremebash isn't a team member.

what we posted earlier in response to you:

@Nicolasbonza

What would be the best form of contact for you so that way we can start this? (PM us with info if you'd like)

Do the included .bin files in wolf's miner not work?
You may try the following steps:
1) Start the miner and enter all data for your pool
2) Let the miner create the .bin file and crash with error -63
3) Look for the .bin file, remember its filename and change the filename "espw64-wolf-esp-Tahiti-64.bin" to the one the miner has created
4) Start the miner again, enter all data
5) Hopefully profit?  Cheesy

already done 2 months ago

errror -63 error just happens via the renaming
otherwise nothing happens

BECAUSE THESE .BIN ARE NOT WORKING FOR WINDOWS
It's that simple

DO YOU HAVE .BIN WORKING FOR WINDOWS PLEASE ?!
OR MAYBE YOU ARE UNDER LINUX AND YOU TROLL LIKE PALLAS
Calm down mate, I'm just trying to help you  Smiley
As you may already read on one of my previous answers, I'm an even poorer NVidia user who has to deal with some crappy 100 kH/s.

That's because I don't have a .bin for the AMD GPUs.
I could you only give one for the GTX960 (working with Win), but that won't help you.

Do you have some software developing skills? Then you could debug wolf's miner with Visual Studio 2013.
I'll currently installing VS2013 and I'll have a look at it. But as I don't have an AMD GPU, it would be very hard for me to track down the error.

Another idea - What's happening when you start the miner and let it create a .bin file?
Did you also copy the folder "kernel" to the miner? And on the "Algorithm" question you have to enter hmq1725.

Let me know if this works.

I know I'm asking for a lot, but can you maybe optimize the miner for nvidia cards? Because as of right now, I'm getting 150KH/s with my GTX780 Ti.
Burning so much electricity. My Core i7 gets higher hashrates. Cheesy
SHP-YTC what version of miner app. are you using to get 150kh/s on your GTX780 Ti ?  thx

I'm using a Zotac GTX 780 Ti AMP! Overclocked to 1150 MHz.
Also its water cooled, Win 10, latest driver, Pallas SGminer from the announcement page. (https://github.com/CryptoCoderz/sgminer_HMQ1725/blob/2f959266a1bbcadf948a1f7a9da0e75a8e32399e/release/sgminer_build_HMQ1725.zip)

Thx
