Will we be able to use Proof-of-Reliability on dynamic ip addys?
Don't see why not
If the IP addresses do not match the Node's reported addresses they will also be "disqualified" from receiving any payout during block generation. This then would allow the network to pay each connecting client according to the amount that they are supporting the network, the more connections one has the more they benefit the network and therefore the more coins they will receive per block. With the system regulated and completely even across the board this will allow everyone to enjoy the system and contribute to the Blockchain fairly.
Thats from the website. Im not sure but what i get from this is that when your ip changes you will be banned for the specific block or range of blocks and not able to earn?
Website is going to be receiving a massive overhaul, along with the Facebook page, and other associated systems.
FYI, it won't care about the IPs as much as connection count
@EveryoneWhile work continues and things seem to be quite we had a thought and wanted to see how the community would feel about the idea.
We're thinking about holding a virtual meeting (if successful future ones would follow on a schedule) to have community members come meet with us and share ideas, concerns, and talk about the future/current/past developments with us.
Almost like a shareholder meeting but for anyone interested in the project and excluding no one.
Let us know!
PS: a new utility is being launched very soon, it is designed to assist users having issues with running the Espers client as we've noticed some users reported that their client would no longer load and have had to re-sync. The utility will "clean" their Espers installation and repair it so as to avoid manual interaction with directories and provide a ease-of-use even when experiencing problems. During in-depth repairs your DAT file will be automatically backed up so as to insure no loss of your tokens.
Furthermore; there will be a new optional Installer featuring the whole blockchain pre-sync'd and an option within the coming utility to download the blockchain (like a bootstrap) in case of the repair function needing to remove their Espers directory for a installation repair.
