Not long until the 2nd Giveaway is going to be closing, I wonder how many people have participated so far ?
Will it be worthwhile with the overall giveaway payments if I apply and 300 or so people have already signed up or will it be better mining per day for that amount on my CPU or GPU ?

We can definitely understand! My apologies for the delay! It's understandable that you all are anywhere from super excited to frustrated with us but believe you me, this will get done! Tonight and the weekend is set aside just for coding.
Though because of the delays I'm staying up tonight and getting this done, end of story.
We will make sure not to push ourselves to far but regardless of how crappy our week was it's important to us to deliver our promises to our community. So we will do our best.

If anyone wants to try out joblo's optimized miner, cpuminer-opt (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-cpuminer-opt-v3881-open-source-optimized-multi-algo-cpu-miner-1326803) for windows 64-bit with hmq1725 support, I managed to build it after making a few source code changes and removing the hodl algorithm. I have only tested it with a couple of sandybridge cpus and only with hmq1725 so it may be a bit buggy, but I thought I'd share it with our community.

Doesn´t work with a X5660 -> Appcrash
New installed Server 2012 R2 with all updates.
I have a E5640. I will try later. You should run it in a VM, and install Win8 or Win10 not Server 2012 on that VM. (Or better yet, Debian, but I haven't gotten around to installing it.)
Doesn't work for me. I guess I'll have to try the linux version.

Suprnova does not work, no of mining
The server's SSD has failed, i'm rebuilding from the backup now but this will take some time.
You might want to mine at the other pools so long, however all data is safe and will be restored once the backup is done (expect 12-24h)
Thank you very much for the update. i know the community appreciates it and looks forward to being able to mine again.
