Check the config file for strange characters in the addnode section and make sure there isn't anything strange.
I've had wallets crash due to an apostrophe in the naddnode section before

I cannot seem to find the difference, it should be working ok, but it isn't - the daemon isn't currently accepting blocks found by the external miner.

Our intent was a fair mining phase for PoW. So far so good.

Thanks to Espers, I was able to detect some weird malware on my system. I think. Anyway, it's non critical so I got rid of it.

I was getting slow hash speeds because the other process was doing something, or it wasn't doing what it was supposed to do properly. Anyway, I killed that process and now I'm hashing at 100% speeds.

I still don't know what I killed, but I just knew it wasn't supposed to be there.

(It's on a server host that is running a VM, so its not a big deal, I can just erase it later.)

As you can see I wasnt logged in for a time now. Got espered in with its HMQ1725 algorithm https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esper_%28fiction%29

SO. for now it resists GPU mining successfully

Cryptocurrency would be better off if people weren't sooooo concerned about making money. For people like us, this has NOTHING to do with making money. As for anyone who thinks we are instamining.....come check our wallets. I personally started mining the same time as everyone else and as a matter of fact, i have only hit 2 blocks since then. And people, just remember that this coin is currently in Alpha. Not Beta...ALPHA! We have no intention of bending to the will of FUDsters, so please keep that in mind when posting. If people dump their coins @ 1 sat, then that is their damn fault. We have absolutely no control over that. Quite frankly we are leaving the value up to you guys. We intend on focusing on features and functionality and that's it.
