After rocketing to over $14 weeks ago due to effects of being listed on Coinbase platform, Ethereum Classic has eventually been corrected.
It is un-avoidable corrections, and for now ETC stood at $11.3

At some point it must correct upwards lol, $11 was the price of more then one year ago (like its cousin ethereum as well to be honest). 11 dollars it's still a huge bargain imo

Although it is up to other devs to create these dapps there is no reason why the ETC team cannot encourage outsiders to join in with some type of incentive. Failing that, they can create a good dapp themselves as an example of what you can do on ETC which is different and more beneficial than on ethereum ETH

I heard about ETC long time ago but I only consider this project when ETC was listed on Coinbase.
Hope ETC can expand the ecosystem as ETH does. (ICO use ETC token, etc)

Lol ICOs, that's what overinflated ETH in the first place. ethereum classic devs really don't care about ICOs they just want devs to build dapps (and sidechains eventually?), they are also heavy researching about IoT

There wasn't much hype when the SDK was released recently, I would have though it would be everywhere along with a price explosion. What else are they waiting for! Hopefully we'll see some good DAPPs being created now, along with the usual spammy ones like ethereum ETH has

it's not on ethereum classic devs' hands anymore, other devs must develop their dapps on etc and not on eth to scam people with their crappy ICOs. This is just my opinion however

only three coins are good I think it's ETH, ETC and LTC, but other coins very much their developers has, they can endlessly put pressure on the price

Hello guys i have found new information about the ethereum classic ETC and litecoin due to
Alluma, a new Indian cryptocurrency exchange announced this week the listing of Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Litecoin (LTC). Ethereum Classic (ETC) was listed on September 14th and LTC was listed on September 10th.

Ethereum Classic, a continuation of the original Ethereum blockchain, is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts; applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third-party interference. Litecoin, the first blockchain to enable Segregated Witness is a cryptocurrency that enables instant payments to anyone in the world and that can be efficiently mined with consumer-grade hardware.
Hopefully it will make the price of ethereum classic ETC and litecoin to be more expensive.

If developers are researching the IoT, they may have plans to use innovations in the project. This can bring immense popularity and many will pay attention. I think now many projects will pay attention to promising developments and try to implement them.

This is truel. We really need a big ICO and some DAPP developements in the near future. This can bring Ethereum Classic to a whole new level. The technic is there, but we need users and developers.

Future of Ethereum Classic depends mostly on overall market condition.

But the project itself doesn't look bad.
I have just saw a news:
https://tokentops.com/news/ethereum-classic-launches-sdk-for-building-dapps-ethereum-classic-etc-cryptocurrency-news-september/
So maybe with this new launched SDK we will get increased use of ETC platform?

Why has this not been posted on every news channel all over the world?! This is actually a huge announcement that brings ETC not just closer to ethereum but on par with other competitors offering DAPPS as well. Next we need to attract a big budget ICO to develop an ETC based DAPP so others will follow

I was just thinking about dApps for ETC. Is there a reason why there are still more dApps for Ethereum than for Ethereum Classic? And the most important question - can ETC network be "put to it's kees" like Ethereum was when CryptoKitties came out?

I still don't see any big dApp being built up on ETC, and ETC network has never been put to its limits in the past. Saturn Wallet might be a good player for ETC dApps in upcoming months though.

CryptoKitties and EtherDelta literally destroyed Ethereum back in December, maybe we should start developing something like CryptoDogs to see the maximum performance test of Ethereum Classic? Grin

Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash related and correlated to each other in the same bubble of price/ capital.
It's hard to say but Ethereum Classic and Ethereum have almost the same patterns of price fluctuations as of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
I think it takes more time, more waves of price movements to identify the pattern more solidly, but I guess this is one of possible theory.

Changing a little the subject and returning to the subject of adhesion of the ETC i read some comments that this currency depends on the circumstances of the market varying its conditions. In my opinion maybe I'm wrong to say that i do not agree with this analysis and i will mention just below why.

Bitcoin depends on the circumstances of the market to survive knowing that one day his values were of cents.

Conventional Ethereum depends on the circumstances of the market knowing that one day its prices exceeded $1200;

Does Bitcoin Cash depend on market circumstances or does it depend on policies and marketing to support itself?

What i want to say is that the market has no power over the digital currency or it has the right to give some value but the value whoever we assign is us. So any digital coin worth has any value depends on our to our emotions and feelings for it. Overall Ethereum Classic has to awaken some feeling of power and victory in investors such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
