Ethereum Classic mining rule of thumb.  $1000 cost = 100MH/s mining = $100 per month

$1000 usd to get a a rig to do ~100MH/s  
24hours mining classic @~100MH/s to a pool = 3.6 Etc per 24 hours at current diff ($100 per month)
that will pull ~1kw per hour.  24hours would be 24kw/h

but you don't have to run 24h per day,  just run 12 hours per day.
Moreover: i don't use my heating in winter and i dry all my washing on it all year round.

Oh and @greenuser...don't use genesis mining, it's a scam. You buy a lifetime contract but there's a clause that if you make no profits for I think it's 10 days they void your contract. Their fees make that happen in about 3 to 4 months. There's alot of pissed off people out there at those dick heads. They have extremely cheap power and pretty much have conned the community into paying for them to have warehouses full of miners that they keep mining with after your "lifetime" contract expires. I see them going garza/hashlets court case shit at some point. I lost a heap of btc there so, take it or leave it that's my experience with genesis mining. Like all cloud mining ROI isn't possible, better off just buying and holding, or get your own gear is my recommendation

Here we go again..first etc has been the most profitable of the 2 for miners for the majority of the last month, I'm using a pool that switches and sells the eth for etc and we have spent little time mining eth. You should consider trying it atleast, if you want to see it do better.
