It was totally surprise for me when I saw I have new tokens which were marked as ERC20 tokens. When I proceeded to check the source I realized that Ethbits just swapped the token. But old tokens still were appearing in wallet at the same time.

I got my ETBS tokens so I guess the swap is succession for me.

Kamayulka78, you are one of the users that causes the delay of the project for which the reason of swapping instead. The investors had been waiting for you to upgrade your tokens but you didn't. What I can say if I were part of the team is FUCK you! You deserve it.  

Hello! I saw the message just yesterday and immediately sent my ETB to myetherwallet. They came to the purse but are displayed ETB and not ETBS, tell me, too, did not have time !? I did not follow the branch, I have a lot of work and I also participate in several bounties, but I honestly earned my ETB, Kubra Dam really nothing can be done!?

When coinmarketcap shows etbs ?? And do you have a conversation to list the coin in the exchange?? Like bittrex , yunbi ??

Seems like the swapping of ETB to ETBS at long last finally ended the stupid upgrading token issue. Here is my 3 cents worth, the road from here is very clear and it should be a smooth ride. ETB was like a dead fish in the past but now it is showing signs of survival.  Due to the low supply, its a great coin to HODL!!

As the detailed above, Etb token is now deleted and you can do anything with it. Only ETBS is the token that ethbits team support. So that keep your ETBS token and trade ETB for people who want it.

Bitcointalk thread is only a way to follow the announcements. The swap was also announced via other official channels as you all know. In addition, all the people had been discussing the swap for couple of weeks.

We have now completed the ETBS token swap.

Balances from the original ETB token contract (https://etherscan.io/address/0x807B9487aaF00629B674bd6d02E4917453bc5939) and the upgraded ETB token contract (https://etherscan.io/address/0x4fE6Ea636aBe664E0268Af373A10CA3621A0B95b) were taken as of block number 4190270 and combined to initialise the balances on the new ETBS token contract (https://etherscan.io/address/0x1b9743f556d65e757c4c650b4555baf354cb8bd3).

Going forward from this block (4,190,270), the original and upgraded ETB contracts will no longer be used for any purpose by EthBits and as such any token balances or transfers on these contracts will be ignored – only the new ETBS token contract will be recognised by the EthBits team.

The new ETBS token contract has the following functionality and features:
1. An ETBS token symbol – this allows us to cleanly list our new token on exchanges, starting with EtherDelta.
2. Based on the MiniMeToken used by a number of recent high profile ICOs with well-audited code and features.
3. Ability to query balances as of specific block numbers – this allows us to implement an easy profit sharing scheme for dividend payments.
4. Token burning functionality (currently turned off) – this allows us to proceed with our EthBits roadmap to add utility for the ETBS token.

him, they asked for money and we gave him.but it's dev fault for creating a shit token that need some to upgrade every month. Most of the project failed because of the market or for the management. ethbits performed well right after the launch. That makes dev greedy to take over all of the funds back/burned and hold the maximum share. so that they can control the market anytime according to their dirty mind.

but tell me a singles reason why i should loss my token? i purchased iconomy and from the first day i din't even follow their thread. so what? my token are still here in my wallet.

Sorry to hear as per the announcement after this swap all tokens will be useless who will be at exchange wallet. Last reminder was posted yesterday but you are not following this thread that is why you will face trouble.

So what next? another swap or upgrade after few weeks? then another portion of investors will be kicked , then again another swap bla bla, and finally a few investors with a few etbs(defghijklmnop.....) and last only the team members holding this shot. great idea dev, really great idea how to fck us with an ico, i received zero etbs from my 970 etb, thanks a lot

Shit, I don't know about etb swap ,, and i have etb tokens on etherdelta ,, so what about etb tokens that is not swaped ,, ?

First try https://ethplorer.io/ and paste your ETH address and see if you have ETBS tokens there. If yes, then use the information below to add ETBS information to your wallet manually by using add token feature.

Dividens should be this month as far as we know. We'll get more information about this.

i do not see my etbs token on myetherwallet and it's only etb . But when i see in https://etherscan.io/token/0x1b9743f556d65e757c4c650b4555baf354cb8bd3#balances . I found that my tokens are rank 284, so that means my tokens have upgraded and i have ETBS ??

Checked, ETB was received! My address was shown there
