Okay.  I watched the Devcon Conference, got excited, and wanted to provide some support to the network.  I transferred some ether to one of the sites developed by one of the speakers invited to speak at Devcon.  The project is called "Gnosis."  It's a prediction market D'APP.  As far as I can tell it is a scam.  I bought shares in one of the markets and won but was not paid, answered, or even acknowledged in the site forum.  If Vitalik is so smart, why would he invite these idiots to speak at the conference?  I only wonder how many other affiliates of Vitalik are also scam artists....just beware of making investments into these projects, even if endorsed by Vitalik!

So this means that the Ethereum project is a complete scam? I don't know about you but, I think that most alt coins are scam. That is why I invest more on the oldest ones like LiteDoge, just to be safe. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes

Ethereum: Public Consensus Versus Economic Consensus
One of the most intriguing topics touched upon during the recent Ethereum DevCon1 conference is how the challenges in public consensus should be addressed.  Achieving a public consensus sounds easy to accomplish on paper, yet the reality is vastly different.  The Ethereum team seems to have a general idea of what challenges they are facing and how they can be addressed.

Good article, but I think ETH is still young and much complicated

This is the perfect time to buy some more Ether. I have the feeling that in the next few years its price will be a lot higher than what it is right now and it would be a great opportunity to make some profit.  Cheesy

Has anyone been successful in GPU and CPU mining at the same time? If I start 2 instances of eth miner, the CPU one crashes while GPU one works fine. I use coinotron for pool mining.

when i run my cpu to mine, my gpu hash rate is decreased by about ~10%

not worth it to let my cpu mine..anyway it was only an old core2duo intel cpu, win7 64bit..

this might help someone here...when i use only 2gb of ddr2 RAM my GPU's can't mine...at 3gb and 4gb my GPU's can mine.

I have a question,

Is there any exchange that exchanges Etherum tokens?
Please pay attention I don't mean ETH, I mean tokens created under Etherum protocol:

https://www.ethereum.org/token
Quick! Register the domain/s. You've let the cat out of the bag.   Grin
Can you please explain a bit more? Do you mean there is non yet? and I try to register a domain and do that? Cheesy Wink
It seems that Etherex promised to do so, But I wonder any regular exchanges also plan to do so or not?! Huh
No, i dont know if there is one yet. You have expressed a good idea, that others may seize upon. Seize the moment yourself, was my point.  Smiley

having hard time connecting to peers here...any add nodes to mist wallet?

Hey, will you post the link to the Mist wallet so I don't have to do a comprehensive search...I must be tired because my compulsory search couldn't find it.  That happens to me sometimes when I get stuck in cyber space for prolonged periods....things are developing so quickly in crypto-world I'm afraid to shut down....think I'm developing some sort of psychological illness from the amount of time I spend submerged within this space. FOMO for sure!

somebody should be in charge with the OP where information is available, problem is.. it is vitalik's btctalk account OP and for sure he is super busy.

Wow, thanks.  Downloaded and syncing now.  I downloaded the Ethereum wallet because I have the C++ client installed instead of the GO client.  I hope I don't have to start all over from scratch....I haven't transferred my ether from the exchange because I haven't felt secure in my abilities with the client yet so....Huh  We'll see how it goes!
