Hi,

I'm maintaining Cryptocoins – vector/webfont cryptocurrency icon pack; just released a new update (1.5) including Ethereum!

Hope you won't mind me posting here (other communities appreciate it).
If you like the work, tip me crypto and support further development:

ETH: 0xba356f88f126aa0d0f25ef8a43c9fb19471646f8

Cheers!
~ systh

Now that is truly a work of art, mate! Those are very high quality vector icons you got there with a large list of cryptos to choose from. I would definitely donate some Ether as soon as I get my earnings from mining this week. Keep up the good work!  Wink

Lots of miners coming back for this coin

The difficulty is over 8 TH, the hash rate is over 540 GH. I do not know there are so many GPUs working on this coin. The speed increase is too much, is there a rumour about FPGA? I know the algorithm is quite ASIC resistant.

540 GH/s is equivalent to 22 thousand AMD 280x.

WTB custom ETHMINER for R9 Fury X

PM me how much MHs is expected with R9 Fury X and the price you are asking for the miner.

Where did you hear the existence of custom Ethminer for R9 Fury X? I do not think there is one. The existing Ethminer is not efficient for R9 Fury. It is based on 280x. It is most efficient with 280x or 7970,7950.

Where can download last Ethminer from Github?

It is here:

https://build.ethdev.com/builds/Windows%20C%2B%2B%20develop%20branch/

You can also go to
http://cryptomining-blog.com/

to find the ethminer for nVidia cards.

I think that Ethereum is too slow in development considering the fact that it had a huge ICO. There was a lot of investing in this project and still up to this date there is no stable release of a GUI wallet? Still, I like Ethereum's technology but the lack of a GUI wallet makes it somewhat unpromising. I have faith in Ethereum and would hope for massive adoption in the near future.  Smiley

Go back a page or two, there is a GUI wallet, and it's been working fine for me.

I've seen it, but I'm afraid that is the beta version. I like the interface though, but I would better wait for a stable release just to be safe.  Smiley

What was ethereum ico price

The number of ICO coins are 50 million, it was worth about $18 million then. So the price was about $0.36. The original owners still have a lot of coins, the dump has not finished yet. Some coins might not be dumped at all.

Bitcoin was too discussed so little. Wait a year and you'll see everybody talking about Ethereum.

I wonder why Ethereum is discussed so little on the internet. The forum has little activity and this thread isn't that active either. This is the altcoin of the century and still there is so little discussion going on.
Only place that has some activity is the Ethereum Reddit.

Trying to install dependencies using this https://github.com/ethereum/webthree-umbrella/wiki/Building-on-Ubuntu guide.

I get this error:
Quote
Unpacking libcryptopp-dev (5.6.2-0~trusty6) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libcryptopp-dev_5.6.2-0~trusty6_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libcryptopp.so', which is also in package libcrypto++-dev 5.6.1-6+deb8u1build0.14.04.1
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libcryptopp-dev_5.6.2-0~trusty6_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Everything installed nicely on two other ubuntu 14.04 computers, but this third one gets that error and won't install. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to solve it?

I don't know what the problem is. However, you can clone this rig from another ones that has already done. It is fast and safe.

Did it, thanks, it worked  Grin
How did you clone it, tried clonezilla for my rigs but can't get that to work.

I use ssd drives, is there an was Ubuntu way to clone the os ssd to another connected via sata?

I just copied the "webthree-umbrella" directory from one computer to another. The dependencies were already met and I had to move it to the identical location.
