What was ethereum ico price

The number of ICO coins are 50 million, it was worth about $18 million then. So the price was about $0.36. The original owners still have a lot of coins, the dump has not finished yet. Some coins might not be dumped at all.

Bitcoin was too discussed so little. Wait a year and you'll see everybody talking about Ethereum.

I wonder why Ethereum is discussed so little on the internet. The forum has little activity and this thread isn't that active either. This is the altcoin of the century and still there is so little discussion going on.
Only place that has some activity is the Ethereum Reddit.

Trying to install dependencies using this https://github.com/ethereum/webthree-umbrella/wiki/Building-on-Ubuntu guide.

I get this error:
Quote
Unpacking libcryptopp-dev (5.6.2-0~trusty6) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libcryptopp-dev_5.6.2-0~trusty6_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/libcryptopp.so', which is also in package libcrypto++-dev 5.6.1-6+deb8u1build0.14.04.1
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/libcryptopp-dev_5.6.2-0~trusty6_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Everything installed nicely on two other ubuntu 14.04 computers, but this third one gets that error and won't install. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to solve it?

I don't know what the problem is. However, you can clone this rig from another ones that has already done. It is fast and safe.

Did it, thanks, it worked  Grin
How did you clone it, tried clonezilla for my rigs but can't get that to work.

I use ssd drives, is there an was Ubuntu way to clone the os ssd to another connected via sata?

I just copied the "webthree-umbrella" directory from one computer to another. The dependencies were already met and I had to move it to the identical location.

I'm really exited about devcon. Is it possible to watch a live stream from the event?

I do use Clonezilla USB boot to clone my Windows or Ubuntu rig. It's never failed me. I setup OS, drivers, ethminer, ccminer... on my 32Gb SSD. Then connect a second SSD (>=32Gb), plug-in my Clonezilla USB, and wait about 10 minutes. That's all.

AMD rig is better atm.

Base on what I have:

HD 7950: 23-25Mhs stock-overclock
GTX750ti: 10.5Mhs overclock
GTX960: 11Mhs
GTX970: 18Mhs

Which catalyst version do you use for 7950? Which Windows version, ethminer version and frequency for the core/memory.

Windows 7 64 bit
Ethminer-opencl-0.9.41
Catalyst newest version (15.xx) on a website and run 6xGPU_mod to get more than 4 cards on Windows 7

I do undervolt and do not overclock because the rig will stop sometime after 4-5 hours. Don't use Windows 8.1 or 10 if you mine Ether. You'll get a lot of problem.

Great article to get your guys minds flowing on the potential future value of Ether:

"Cisco estimates that the number of devices connected to the Internet will swell from about 10 billion today to 50 billion by 2020, as wireless links spread beyond smartphones and PCs to many other kinds of devices. The Silicon Valley giant's chief executive,  John Chambers, is expected to discuss the opportunities Tuesday in a keynote speech at CES."

Anyone that wants to contribute to really dissecting this and brainstorming about how this could effect the ETH price in the future please post ideas here:

Does anybody else mining on Windows have periodic crashes? Every time I begin mining (single R9 290 GPU) it starts up just fine. I submit shares and everything is happy. At some point (usually 1-2 hours later) it will eventually hang everything up and crash the computer. Geth and ethminer are not reporting any errors, it just suddenly stops working. Anybody else having these issues?

Yes, constantly.

Any ideas why? I've been mining for a long time but just picked up ethereum and I've never seen anything like this. I'm convinced its instability in the miner program or problems with the graphics driver. I don't really have a reason for the second one but in my experience AMD's Catalyst is junk so I wouldn't be surprised if its related.

No not for me

Did you by chance build your miner app from source?
