We are days away from a fresh rally. I'm happy with what I hold currently and will continue to buy more ETH as long as its under $1 its a steal IMO.

Yes, patience is key here. Price means very little however,
the BTC spike began the same day the MSFT news was announced as well.
I could see ETH breaking its previous ATH of 2.20 USD. There is no reason it shouldn't....the reason to buy ETH is even larger now due to MSFT coming out and embracing it. Anyone who fully understands the implications of ETH would start to accumulate now. There are bound to be ups and downs along the way, I think the BTC price has a lot to do with whats going on here. Maybe not. Who knows. Just my thoughts. I think the price of ether will reach a new "benchmark price" following DevCon that's higher than today's prices. I could be wrong, but I think people will really begin to take Ethereum seriously and stop seeing it still as another altcoin (at this point, the distinction should be as clear as day, but it's the reality for now).
These factors may help: 1. Additional details of the Consensys and Microsoft announcement. 2. A full on presentation of the many DApps being developed. 3. More details of the recent Chinese investment announcement from some weeks ago. 4. Expected FOMO
Time will tell.
Will be very interesting to watch how the next 15 days play out.
