Whom should I contact to ask if a certain attack leading to consensus fragmentation is possible when I don't have time to learn how to install Ethereum and conduct the attack by myself?
Hmmm....POS in 15 months? Anybody have any speculation on price as a result of the re-defined direction of the project?

No, this is not valid anymore! With the new plan, there will be between 90 - 100 million of the ethers. POS change will come much sooner than planed, in about 15 months, the latest, Ethereum will change to POS.

If you ask me, this is a huge change of plan for Ethereum, on that will influence the price and everything else about this platform. The only strange thing is that a lot of people don't know about this change.
They cannot change the rule of play all the time. They should follow those in the original whilte paper.
Well as I understood, even official plan was to change to POS when they will be ready and when they develop a safe enough POS algorithm. I guess they have just been amazingly fast in developing one. It's either that or they have really changed the rules of the game.
If this is the case, the reasoning might be that the unlimited supply would dilute the value in a longer period of time. So their reservoir of funds would also get diluted and worth less. Less money for development as well.
If the total supply stays under 100 million, this changes everything since all of the sudden, all the people that counted on getting in later when price drops because of many ethers, will not have that much time to get in since the supply is no more unlimited.

Why would anyone invest in a coin that is already close to 100 mil USD marketcap. It's the coins under 500k USD that are the real investments.
