This is amazing,

the secure web wallet
https://ethereumwallet.org
has just relayed its 1500th transaction.

So is this 100% sure? I don't know should I just go with this online wallet or should I mess around with the clients. Clients do seem very complicated. I manage to get to work GETH on one of my computers, but on the second I didn't manage, I keep getting an error.

I don't know should I waste time on the clients or should I just use this online wallet.

Can somebody with more experience please confirm.

Thanks!

Wow very interesting!

Can you explain me how does it work?

Thank you Alan.

Its basically an offline client for ethereum running inside the browser.
This means, all cryptographic operations like signing etc. are done locally on your computer.
Something is stored on the server though and that is an encrypted version of your wallet.
This again means that nobody has access to your wallet but you.
Once you log in the encrypted wallet is downloaded by your browser and decryped locally using your password. Then the client is run locally and allows you to send and receive funds. Just make sure you use a strong password, its hashed 5000 times though so bruteforcing it is not possble.

You secrets never leave your computer which makes the wallet as safe as a local GETH client.

Also you always own the private key. So you at any time can import it into your GETH client and continue using your wallet entirely offline.

Thank you so much for the fast reply.

I'll try...

99% premine Huh

Ok it will be 97% is that better?

~72 millions was premined and to date less then 1 million is mined, and "soon" no one wana tell when coin will switch to POS

if that is not pure scam and clear fact that there is NO decentralization I don`t know then what is

Also bittrex ethereum and shift wallet are disabled due the BUG in ethereum TX transfer!

Some very valuable insights into how Ethereum could change Ecommerce and the world as we know it.

Both IBM and Samsung live demonstration of ADEPT in February 2015 of this year https://youtu.be/U1XOPIqyP7A

ADEPT is based on the internet of things concept (#IoT).  Mckinzie and Co's recent report on IoT predicts the market to be worth 4 trillion to 25 trillion dollars by 2025

I would suggest everyone read up on this.  Ethereum and smart contracts are the most disruptive innovations since Bitcoin.   Vitalik Buterin is indeed a true prodigy

Hey guys. So what will be the final number of all ethers? I remember reading that it will be unlimited supply, but I heard it from several person already that a change in plan might be due and that the final number won't be bigger then 100 million.

Is this true? Can you point me to some links with the proofs if this is going to happen.

Thanks a lot in advance for serious answers!

Has anyone succeeded to mine with GPUs of 1GB??

I'm aware that eth/shift GPU mining need at least 2GB of RAM...but still...Lots of coders here made miracles already, why not succeed with 1GB GPUs.

I cannot mine with 2GB memory on a 8GPU Win 8.1 system.

Anybody can mine with 2GB memory?

No. Try Linux or use 8 GB of RAM.

can i just say im quite pissed of as of late with sending coins via alethzero.

why is it i send a "test" transaction to my address on exchange and it works so i send the rest of my coins to the same addy in the exact same way and once again it sends them to the "burn address" thats a total of 25 eth i have lost now due to this. i know its still in early stages but the last transaction of 10eth sent to the wallet of doom has been my last weeks worth of mining.

is there a way to get the coins back?

im starting to feel like eth is costing me more to support in mining than im earning why should i carry on ffs
