Ethereum Gets Ready For the Final Merge Testnet
https://www.trustnodes.com/2022/03/03/ethereum-gets-ready-for-the-final-merge-testnet
“We’d like the Kiln testnet to be the last public testnet,” says Parit Hosh, who describes himself as Validator Whisperer at the Ethereum Foundation, before adding:
“If all client teams are ready next week, we would like to launch Kiln with the full v2 spec.”
Usually this testnet period lasts for about three months presuming all goes well, so The Merger where ethereum becomes full PoS may go out as soon as this summer.

The Merge
More excitingly, the Kiln v2 Merge spec is out. This adds a couple of things to what we have running on merge-devnet-4, and makes one breaking change.

Authentication has been added to the EngineAPI.
It provides for an optional heartbeat feature that checks whether the two paired clients (Eth1 and Eth2) are correctly configured.

Kiln public testnet
Launch of the public Kiln testnet is expected early or mid next week.

Thanks for your answer too. Do you know where else i can read reviews about this service outside of their website?

I believe that just by doing a search you will find reviews and tutorials on YouTube and other sites. I don't remember any in particular.

Here is the link to another service that may interest you, in which in addition to ETH or ERC20 you can choose other blockchains as well...

Is it possible to send ETH to several addresses at once?
Can this be done in one transaction?
Or will it be necessary to create a separate transaction for each address with its own commission?
Is it feasible at all?
I would be grateful if someone could answer my questions and enlighten me.

There are also wallets with multisend functionality

DYOR!
I have not used these applications, for testing it is better to use a new wallet.
Thanks for your tip. I understood in which direction to look for answers to my questions.

Yes, it's possible, and I think that maybe this is what you're looking for https://multisender.app/. It is a Token MultiSender, a tool that allows you to batch send ERC20 and ETH tokens as well.

I've never used it, but I've seen a lot of people using it, check out the documentation, I believe it can help you.  Wink

zkSync 2.0: Public Testnet is Live!

zkEVM has arrived, the first EVM-compatible ZK Rollup on Ethereum’s testnet.

The current version of the zkSync 2.0 solves the needs of most applications on Ethereum, and with more features planned for release soon, zkSync 2.0 will provide developers with a design space to experiment with applications not possible on Ethereum today. With this release, we are supporting the following features:

- Native support of ECDSA signatures

- Solidity 0.8.x support

- Web3 API

- Support for Ethereum cryptographic primitives

- Hardhat plugin

- L1 → L2 smart contract messaging

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said that the new “crypto winter” could help the industry become stronger.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Buterin emphasized that, in fact, people “deeply immersed in the cryptocurrency industry” welcome periods of a “bear market.” This allows you to get rid of weak projects and reduces the ” hype ” level. However, he is not yet sure whether this period has begun or not.

With the changes from Eth 2.0 to consensus layer, when will proof of stakes be implemented? I have coins in Eth wallets that I cannot send anywhere. I hope it is soon and that fees will go cheaper.
The proof of stakes algorithm is part of Ethereum 2.0. But this will not help you much, because the commissions will not decrease until sharding is launched. But even now, you can send your coins to the exchange for amounts less than $3.
https://etherscan.io/gastracker

Thanks for that. Fees must have come down a lot. Last time I looked it was too expensive. I think I must quickly move my coins while I can.
