VISA using first ethereum transaction is a big news but I a not sure it is so smart until transactions get lower with some updates.
Still totally bullish for Ethereum.

As long as Piston visits here from to time to bring his special touch of humour here then I would welcome it with open arms.

Imagine what Piston would say if ETH got to $10,000...  instead of accepting he was wrong he would probably give us another one liner to make us all laugh !!

I think you should be here for the $2000 per ETH and not for the reasons you stated.
guess even at $8k this guy will sneer at ETH. Admittedly a questionable kind of "fun". Smiley

HI , IM HERE FOR THE GANGBANG...........
too late man, $ADK got already gangbang´ed a long time ago. Grin

LET'S GET KRUNKEDDDDD!

@Mrpumperitis. I know about SBF, FTX and SOL. They have taken over Arthur Hayes and Bitmex’s realm, however, Binance is still no.1.
Traders that use FTX exchange...
Hope you got plenty of FTT ...
Binance coin BNB rank 3 has 154Mill supply and is priced at $268 Mcap $41B
FTX coin FTT rank 30 has 94Mill and is priced at is $36. Mcap $3.4B

No maker fee if you have 25 FTT staked...
No withdraw fees if you have 150 FTT staked...
if you want to take part in FTX IEO's, hodling FTT is useful...
Note: Any user whose 30d trading volumes do not exceed $50,000 or who does not stake 500 FTT cannot participate in FTX IEO's

How safe is EIP 1559?
Is it possible that they change the mining profit when the 51% attack is succesful?

Great to see Piston back in the Ethereum thread  Grin

I think you should be here for the $2000 per ETH and not for the reasons you stated. Maybe the next time ETH hits $2000 it will not fall below it ever again  Shocked

That is life, we have to adapt and accept some things we simply do not like or understand but we get on with it.

@JollyGood. The statement is not very reassuring.

However, it appears eyes cannot simply be closed or heads cannot simply be dug under the sands to remove the problem. I hope you are correct and this issue will only be a waste of time without causing problems, however.

In a move to save the Proof of Work model of Blockchain, as well as Ethereum Miners globally, noted Canadian Blockchain technology lawyer, Gregory Prekupec, has pledged support to the Ethereum Genesys Foundation and Ethermine pool, to oppose EIP1559. An avid supporter of Ethereum 2.0, Gregory was instrumental in ETH 2.0 achieving its threshold. In light of these developments, Gregory has now switched sides to Ethereum Genesys to support the Ethereum Proof of Work Blockchain Maple Fork.

@Mrpumperitis. There is also Binance's smart chain which appears to be in a beginning of a longterm pump to replace Ethereum from being 2nd in coinmarketcap.com.

Binance also has the marketing dollars.

@JollyGood. The statement is not very reassuring.
BSC is just another ETH fork. Higher cost when compared to SOL it costs more than 1000x.
Binance claims its blockchain can handle a throughput of “a couple of thousand” transactions per second.
SOL can do 65k tps and It is specifically built to scale transaction throughput with Moore's Law. There is no sharding required to achieve this throughput.

Also the people backing SOL have deeper pockets than Binance, check out SBF Alameda and Circle group with USDC.

China’s Hurun Research Institute has named Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of crypto derivatives exchange FTX (Built on SOL) the second-richest “blockchain billionaire”—just below Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and, somewhat surprisingly, above Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao.

I think Amir explains it best...

Solana is the most well thought through blockchain platform in the entire space. The others rushed to fill a gap by throwing together concepts hoping they stick. Solana devs went to the root of the problem, started from first principles and revisited old research on concurrency.

btw , 1500 eth minimum if u wana stake  Shocked  ( me  sits back and watches the rush to buy  Cool )

Waiting for ETH staking for a very long time...still waiting...
ETH changed from 1500eth to 32eth over the years as the value of ETH grew...
With staking and the move to pos, i was expecting to see a scalable version of ETH...
Maybe this will happen , give them a few more years...
However....

SOL has delivered what i was expecting from ETH...
A cheap almost free tx cost, instant send, over 50k tps
and for the past 6months , Solana staking is what ive been doing...hodling and earning 10%roi

ETH 2.0 may come oneday....but Solana is here today.

I think 2.0 will trump anything that came before it and ETH will be a very powerful tool in crypto for years to come.

Miners will mine anything as long as they make money. I think that is a rule for them because they want to make money and they will follow the money. If there are forks and there is money to be made then it will not be a problem for miners  Grin

Hello Ethereum hodlers and followers hehe. I want to ask what the miners’ sentiments are on the Ethereum development team’s roadmap to upgrade to ETH 2.0. I speculate of course that it would clearly be negative, however, I might be wrong.

What are your speculations after the hard fork? Would miners continue to mine the original Ethereum.

This does not bring good news to Vitalik and the development team of ETH 2.0. If traders continue to support the original ETH and it is still very profitable to mine it, what would be the use of ETH 2.0? Also, remember that none of the projects developed on Ethereum and other smart contract platforms are used in reality.

A novice programmer can also fork Ethereum. But if this programmer does not have a team and reputation in the community, then the new coin will not be traded on exchanges. If you get some shitcoins on another blockchain, then it will not give you profit. Smiley

Are you novice programmer ot not?
All forks gave some profits before and if greedy miners supports it than profit will be guaranteed.

Ethereum 1 is a very slow blockchain. What do you expect from the fork?

I dont expect anything from this new Ethereum fork, except that I will get more free coins that I can sell.
Its free money.

How will you protect your coin from 51% attacks?

I don't care about 51% or other attacks
