Ethereum 1 is a very slow blockchain. What do you expect from the fork?

I dont expect anything from this new Ethereum fork, except that I will get more free coins that I can sell.
Its free money.

How will you protect your coin from 51% attacks?

I don't care about 51% or other attacks

Step in the world of MatchPS
The transaction fees are skyrocketing. It is no longer interesting for developers in this way to start a new project on the ETH blockchain. It's just a shame because so much innovation has been done on the blockchain. I really hope that with a new protocol the transactions will go down or with a different intermediate layer.

What blockchain do you think will be forked?
Ethereum 1, Ethereum 2, or both?

Ethereum 2 hopium is maybe going to be released in next few years, so it would be better to fork Ethereum 1 first.
I think reducing fees will not be like people are expecting but lets wait and see.

Ok, then explain your logic.
Ethereum 1 is a very slow blockchain. What do you expect from the fork?
Increasing gas in blocks or decreasing the interval for releasing new blocks?
How do you plan to increase the speed of transactions in the new fork?
How will you protect your coin from 51% attacks?

Hello Ethereum hodlers and followers hehe. I want to ask what the miners’ sentiments are on the Ethereum development team’s roadmap to upgrade to ETH 2.0. I speculate of course that it would clearly be negative, however, I might be wrong.

What are your speculations after the hard fork? Would miners continue to mine the original Ethereum.
If you look at what is happening among the projects and what the developers are talking about, then most of the efforts are aimed at building Level 2 solutions and maximizing the acceleration of the Ethereum 1.0 network.
Perhaps Ethereum 2.0 phase 1 will start working next year, which will allow users to send ETH transactions (ETH coins only) very cheaply, but all smart contracts will work on the Ethereum 1.0 network for a long time.

Never trust miners and hope for one more ethereum fork.
That is winning combination.

Miners will mine anything as long as they make money. I think that is a rule for them because they want to make money and they will follow the money. If there are forks and there is money to be made then it will not be a problem for miners  Grin

ETH made many of these "honourable" miners fat and rich, now some of them are stabbing the knife in ETH's back for that? With this selfish behave imo they start slaughtering the cow which they're milking. While competitors like BNB surely welcomes that gratefully and are already nibbling on ETH's fundament. Shame on you, paltry, greedy miner-ragtag.

$20,000 is probably a long way away. Even if ETH settled at $3000 per each at the end of the year 2021 it will create many new millionaires.

I think when Ethereum 2.0 is finally fully functional and everything is implemented, we will inevitably see an extreme price increase.
The most important thing is that we get the transaction costs back to a normal level.
I think 20k per ETH is quite realistic in the near future....

We are happy to announce a decrease in our ETHEREUM mining fee.

From 3% to 1%, happy mining!

"Announcing #Ethermine MEV beta! 🥳

In order to compensate the upcoming mining reward reduction caused by the adoption of EIP-1559 we have launched our MEV beta program.

80% of our MEV revenue will be distributed alongside the mining block rewards."

The fork time is over. Ethereum Classic has made a lot of noise, but has not achieved anything in recent years.

Fork time is never over.
Long live fork time.
New Ethereum cash fork will be better for everyone Smiley

I need to spill my bags somewhere, I'm a ultra small gpu miner, I've been watching Red Panda Mining in the past but unsubbed a couple of months ago because I felt the guy was misleading newbies and he's not a very good and efficient miner himself. That's not a problem, we're all learning, but here is my problem with him: Red Panda Mining has been forever talk-shitting Ethereum like he hates it. He was not primarily mining Eth until mid-summer 2020 when it became super highly profitable. The guy was also mining through Nicehash while ETC it was 51% attacked twice in the same month (thanks to him)... And he kept mining there while ETC was attacked  Undecided Now he is trying to "unite" miners together for Ethereum's safety... yeah right... Am I the only one seeing the dishonesty in this guy?
I don’t trust bloggers for a long time, because they all start out as good guys and then talk about what is beneficial for them.
Bloggers make good money on advertising services and you are risking your money. Now it doesn't matter what he did and what he talked about in the past. If you think that someone is dishonest, then do not watch his channels and think with your own head.

Hello everybody...In 2016 I bought 1ETH and sent it to the desktop wallet, too bad the desktop wallet never managed to sync 100%. So, I have a private key, how can I recover my ETH? I mean, could I use the private key on another ETH wallet?
Ttried a while ago with MyEtherWallet but it didn't work.

Check out the list of available wallets here
https://ethereum.org/en/wallets/find-wallet/
Try MyCrypto or Metamask, but if you get an error, you may have incorrectly recorded the private key

"Coming out of my twitter break to share this: miners' "counter proposal" to 1559 is EIP-3368, which would raise the block reward to 3 ETH and lower it to 1 ETH over ~2 years.
@BitsBeTrippin should present it at the next AllCoreDevs.  "
