I am very positive that Ethereum will break through $ 450 in the near future. hope the US election has a good impact on ETH prices.

After 3 years, after many ups and downs, after many drama, Ethereum is back to $400 and 0.04 BTC for one Ethereum a few days ago. The crypto market and the top altcoins still been in their early recoveries. If you have belief, you have patience, you can hold ETH for higher price since end of 2021.

Long term investment always are safer and bring better margin of profit. It takes the end of bear market into consideration. If YFI can get the price more than $20 000, ETH can go back to $1500. Matter of time, only.

AFAIK, those things are part of the 2.0. We have to wait until everything has launched. I'm expecting a lot and will solve the issues that many are saying but I don't want to expect a lot from it.
But I'm wishing that the result will be delivered even if not as promised but hopefully, it's near to that.

From what I understand Ethereum will stay relevant but ETH should provide a faster and cheaper transactions first and better rewards staking. Hopefully, ETH 2 will delivers as promised otherwise most of those Dapps will look for alternatives. I wish Ethereum 2.0 launch take care of our concern.

Ethereum 2.0 Deposit Contract Release Kicked Back Until November


The Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract is a few weeks away at least, according to Ethereum Foundation researcher Danny Ryan.

This is a difficult question, in short, shards will be created that will be responsible for this. The more shards there are, the more operations per second will be.

The news about the launch of the deposit contract came out , but 5 days have already passed.
If the deposit contract is launched next week, then Ethereum 2.0 should launch in mid-December 2020.

How exactly will ETH manage throughput of the entire token ecosystem?

There's still a 50-50 chance that they will launch 2.0 in November. It's better not to expect anything lol.

If BTC breaks its ATH and during that period, if they release 2.0 (any phase), then it will give ETH great momentum to break the $600 mark.

Hope it will be launched in next month at last. Seems BTC going to hit its new ATH. And after this alts will follow to BTC too. It would be great time to release 2.0 and we will see new bullrun 

They did the same official but not official thingy during Vitalik interview about the testnet release a couple of months back. Looks like guys at ethereum are not sure too about when they will release it. They are basically hiding behind those non-official statements.

Things are starting to look ridiculous, as always with Vitalik plans.

So, if for the mainnet to be a validator it is needed 32 Eth and a PC with 32 GB RAM and a new CPU, how many validators could participate and how are they supposed to ensure the security of coins worh of billions? I am starting to think that some devs already know that the final switch to Eth 2.0  will be delayed indefinitely...  

P.S. For the first time in many months Eth price is plumetting, while Bitcoin is rocketing to $12K. I guess traders also know what is going on right now.

So it mean we can expect for further until they reach the required goal to move forward. Anyway the community is used to with this kind of stuff and but we hope one day this will happen and it will become relaity.

No, phase 0 is currently being prepared for launch, Smart contracts will be available in phase 2.

Will there be smart contracts in the upcoming Ethereum 2.0 release?

It gets somewhat tedious now reading about how the developers are basically saying "hmmm not yet". I wonder what sort of impact this is having on investor confidence.

You're worth being patient. Moreover, just a couple of days ago, they announced the successful launch of Zinkin testnet. Moreover, according to the Ethereum Foundation, the Zinkin testnet performed better than Spadina. Errors in Zinkin's network possible, but will be eliminated.
