Once again like at every dip in Bitcoin's market Ethereum showed nice covering and gaining more share from market. Ethereum looking best alternative of Bitcoin market with everything and now advancing in adoption and acceptance easy by easy.

It seems the Ethereum price is inverse to the bitcoin. So if you think bitcoin is in some kind of troube, it is better to buy Ethereum.

This is very true. Check out their 7 day graph at coinmarktecap.com and you'll see

Hi how much disk space take that etherum wallet after synch ?

We have some portable online wallet to keep safe our coins there like Myetherwallet and many more plugin available at the moment. You don't need to download the whole blockchain from the beginning just cloud wallet and make it function within seconds.

Hi how much disk space take that etherum wallet after synch ?

I think it is around 13 to 15GB.

I use Parity, which is another Ethereum client that uses around 9.5GB of space. It is very good - I prefer it to Mist (i.e. Ethereum Wallet)

Alternatively you could use something like Exodus or Jaxx, which are light clients that do not require you to store the blockchain so have very low storage requirements.

Great that kind of info i needed ,thx very much.

There is no major reason for this increase, but rather a combination of factors. A Japanese exchange added Eth to its platform. The Huobi offshore futures exchange also added the currency. There are rumors that OKcoin too, but so far nothing confirmed. There is also increasing infrastructure for ethereum, the currency may also be benefiting from current problems of bitcoin, whose price has fallen today by around 3.5% to below $ 1,200. The reason is probably because everyone is getting saturated about the scalability debate.

Some big movements are seen in ethereum. Money moves between three major alts as if trying to find out which of them will be eligible to pop first. I think huge amounts of freshly laundered dollars will be entering into ethereum over the course of the next seven days. Once 4400-4600 resistance is broken it explodes like a japenese volcano, and all u will need to do is count profits.

Hi,

where can I buy ether physical coins? I want to make a present  Cheesy

Since you knew that you cannot purchase an eth physically maybe you can ask someone to mint it. Or maybe look for some collectibles there in services section. 1 collectible is more than 1 eth. Tongue

I know, I meant the collectables.
I knew I've seen some in this tread days ago, and found it yesterday after searching a bit. finite by design. Anyone knows if there are any there other brands?

You didn't. ETHF is the perpetual hard fork coin. Whatever Ethereum Foundation Central Bank decides.

Tried to install the Ethereum Wallet yesterday.

Ethereum is described by Vitalik as a fuel. You need a fuel tank to store it, not wallet.

I have a Ethereum wallet. It is very good.

The app is literally called "Ethereum Wallet"

I'd bet a wooden nickel Butters uses the command line for everything, I don't think he realizes the beta horror that is the GUI client.

Edit:

Fake news spam

I support ETC but seriously, your FUD is just fucking annoying....

And this guy know a thing or two about annoying FUD. But he has a rather pleasing way of adding self-deprecating humor to his own attempts: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.18582059

Tried to install the Ethereum Wallet yesterday.

It seems to have a serious first start issue. If for any chance it get's the wrong nodes on first start up it is stuck at around 3 mil open blocks.
It always sees a few nodes 1 to 3 and the 3 mil change up and down but never synchs.

After fighting it a few hours I backed up my files and wiped all files except the one in keystore.
(I found no option/console to tell ethereum to resynch the block chain or do anything for a recovery!?)
Installed it again and now it synchronizes finally.

Question: Is my passwort and the file in the Ethereum/keystore the only file I need to backup or do I need to backup more?

I still haven't figured out what Ethereum is really usefull for... but seems a lot see a value in it so I best don't ignore it completly. I need it for diversifications.
