Hey Butters I like the PPC style hybrid PoW/PoS system, you get checkpoints and an additional layer of security.
If I remember right, the devs are planning a hybrid phase as a transition to pure POS. But the ultimate goal in Casper is pure POS. POS has never been implemented at such a high bandwidth and Vitalik says that this is one of the greatest challenges Ethereum has yet to meet.

i am not an expert but i see only one risk for cryptos thats the heavy load of data you need to put on your pc if you use core clients
and as i understand this caspar make it posible to keep the power of vote in the hand of the manny ?

at the moment for example bitcoin core needs so much space some of my friends stop using it.
the crypto thing has to work on average pc home pc
if its to heavy for that then some big company will create mining farms or servers for lightwallets and so on and the power is again in few hands

you must be joking 1 eth mining cost way more that 2$ or 5$ i have 123mhs and im only making 1.75 a day at this point...continuing this drop soon as a coin gives more im living ethereum until better days....
Find a better pool or solo mine. You should be earning like 2.1ETH/day or so.

How many is the percent amount per time of the PoS?
According to the lead developer, the interest rate of the PoS has not been determined. It could be very low.
I think they will make it arround 5%, a lot more that any bank gives, but in the end it will be alot more since the price will only go up longterm. The tech behind ethereum is crazy, I think we will see 0,1 btc before end of 2016
