Yep, I'm glad I still hold some tokens that I got from the bounty campaign. I was pessimistic if this project slowly died but they tried hard to rebuild this project and now the results are quite satisfying token prices continue to rise from day to day. Just got Switch (ESH) token. Same amount as I have Ethershift (ESH).
Do I understand it right - now I have nothing to do with Ethershift (ESH), and could hold/sell/buy only Switch (ESH) ?

I have seen some projects that ask holders to send their tokens to a certain address for tokens swap. But here every thing was done by the team.

You will receive share from dividends in ETH at the end of each month for holding ESH tokens. They just rebranded their exchange to have more attractive and suitable name to represent the business more briefly. That is airdrop for ESH holders is being released each month separately. It is enough to have ESH to qualify for profit sharing.
Yes, I do get this dividend every month in my ERC enabled wallet but with zero value. I am wondering if there will be automatic switch over to the newly branded coin. Also, why is the chat group not opening?The trade volume on the exchange is really low and that's why our shares from fees have very very low value. Much fees are not collected on the exchange and receiving very low amounts of ETH is normal.

It's a bit confusing when there are two different tokens for one exchange. Binance only has BNB so it's hard to understand why a small exchange with low volume would need two different tokens ESH and SDEX.

SwitchDex tokens (SDEX) represent a revenue share of 50% of ALL fees collected by SwitchDex. Each month that 50% is airdropped (in ether) to SDEX holders.

I also have received ESH airdrop on last day of February as per announcement. It is really news to see on 4th of Match SwitchDex is going to be lunched. It is awesome update which cleared everything by answering every little question which could possibly appear in ones mind. More reasons to buy and hold ESH to get airdrop from fees at the end of this month.
The project is very actively developing, which is good. If they are able to continue ahead of plans on the road map and introduce a full-fledged SwitchDex, then it will be something very cool. Great work team!

This update of few days ago covered just rebranding and extension and all focus of writer was just on this point. I see some people already started to misunderstand the role of ESH and have their own assumptions. It was good to put some light on this token as well to let the holders calm down little bit. Even my understanding is token isn't being rebranded just setup of exchange is that being upgraded.

As Ethershift is supposed to rebrand to Switch.ag, will Ethershift tokens (ESH) remain the main tokens of the platform or there might be a swap to new tokens or something like that?
They will remain as main tokens of the platform as far as I know. On the new page Switch.ag you will even be able to see how much coins you get airdropped for your ESH. Quote from medium:
"Additionally there will be an entire page of the website dedicated to real time monitoring the volume and tracking the fees Ethershift has collected. This section will show when the next airdrop is, how much will be airdropped, and the approximate value per ESH you will receive. The first airdrop of the 50% of fees collected by Ethershift will be on March 31st."

What was the purpose of creating a new token? I don't think it's fair to ESH holders to create a new token. The profits shouldn't be shared with some people other than those who trusted you and invested in the ICO.
Assume that half of the ESH holders sell their tokens for Sdex. What will happen to the investment of the others who are holding ESH as a long term investment? They might panic and cause more fall in price.
Wasn't there any ICO for Sdex? It can be bought only on the exchange. Right?
Well, I think I can answer your questions (even though I´ve just started following Ethershift): There will be 2 platforms, Ethershift (rebrand to Switch) and Switchdex. The ICO investors invested in Ethershift/Switch and not in Switchdex. In my opinion Switchdex will become more like a bonus for ESH holders. So instead of a second ICO they decided to have a private sale with another token. BUT! Every ESH holder also gets 50% from the Switchdex fees. Just like a bonus as I mentioned before. So I don´t think ESH holders might panic sell their ESH - the opposite is more likely. ESH holders won´t only profit from 1 exchange. They will get the benefits of the second one too - even though they didn´t invest in it. And that could lead to a rise of the ESH price, right?
Anyway I can´t wait to see the new products, the team is doing really great as far as I can tell
