u don't see big picture...

what if i have coins in my wallet before fork (old etok coins), and i pass to new blockchain after fork and sent my etok's to coinedup and sold them?

when you fork back to that point again, i'll have same amount of sold coins back to my wallet and btc at coinedup from sold ones...

i'm glad i realized what will come next and dumped all coins after Last1212 warned that coinedup is running on new wallet..

too messed up people, too messed up...

guys u read this?

you can't roll-back the coin... some people sent coin to coinedup from wallets after fork, and they exchanged that coins to btc. and they already withdraw btc to their btc wallets!

if you do rollback to fork point they will get exchanged etok's back...

Yes that's the point. we warned everybody not to make transactions after problem with the fork
Mining and transactioning was a gamble

lets just forget about the coin. it's dead. loss is loss. Although my loss is fairly smaller than what you people faced. but meh.

It created a big mess for pools that switched to the new chain. I switched on time before it happened. Look at it now. Lots of blocks mined within seconds, people got credited and such..
Had to put everything on hold.

We can send our wallet.dat to new dev, he will check them on old blockchain and then resend this amount from new bank. But this a hard work.
Serious ? That doesn`t sound good. Why should i trust the next dev ?
I think that`s no good solution.

I have some token on xhash from after the fork too. But never transfered it to my wallet. They`re still sitting at xhash.
But i own more than 2500 pre-fork etoken too. Would be very hard if they`re worthless. Sad

I think it`s not possible to fork out the bank. That`s the problem with a 15% premine, even if it`s called bank. You have to trust the dev.

I'm quite sure it's possible to fork out the "bank" or any other address in that matter and it shouldn't even be that hard. When you've identified the address that you want to disable, it has to be added as a small fix inside the transaction verification method.
Now the fun part is that transaction inputs do not include the public key of the address from where the coins come from, but they include a reference to the previous transaction. Using the last known transaction from the bank, we can block this input and all is almost golden. Small problem arises - it might be that we effectively block the last bonus given by the dev, but it should be small change compared to the holdings of dev.

So, that's my 2 cents. Might be wrong here, but you'll never know before you've tried.

Oké well we can find out the adress holding 100.000. I think the rest of the bank went to other address and was used to pay bounties and the first miners  Who where in his broken Pool. Better otherwise i will lose 90% of my coins

Lol, this is just impossible ... Period.
You cant send wallets around, you cant "remove the bank" from the chain. We either have to deal with the amont of etok left in the bank or deal with the fact that the coin is dead.

Tomorrow newspaper title - "Several people made suicide beacuse of eTok"

Understand that you can't deal with the bank. It is senseless to make a fork on a coin where a single people is havin more than 100k coins while all the others are having less than 80k.

It is possible if you set up a completely new blockchain and make the first block with the total amounts held by others than dev before fork, so we will have our fair balance and dev will not have his 100k

And how do you distinguish "users" from dev ?

well i guess if mogui posts in a so called refund thread his request then the next dev won't transfer him his coins Grin

I mined my etokens early on when you received 2 coins per block. I did not contact the developer regarding the fork. Will my coins still be valid in a proposed relaunch?

Do we have any evidence the people actually got paid from mining on low diff after the fork? I was mining for a while. I only ever had 1 etoken show up in my unconfirmed balance and nothing was ever paid to my wallet.

Yeap, I got more then 100 coins from xhash.
