Thank you mate Smiley

No problem at all.

1.  Close your wallet (exit/quit)
2.  Go into %appdata%\ExclusiveCoin and remove: database, txleveldb, peers.dat, blk0001.dat
3.  Download http://www.neoscoin.com/excl/blk0001.dat.gz and unzip it
4.  Restart your wallet

Let me know if that helps.

     Best regards,

syntaks

I'm building a bootstrap now (a proper one) and I'll upload it shortly.

     Best regards,

syntaks

My script for some reason isn't playing well with excl's chain.  Let me upload the full data from the seed.  10 minutes or so and I'll have it ready for download.

Just tried that now and it is the same. block 1085000 98.58%.

It was updating perfectly fine until my 40 excl staked :/.

I was staking also and had no issues, but let me put some excl in my windows wallet and see if the same results yield.  I'll keep everyone updated.

     Best regards,

syntaks

Thanks, if you could also show me the output of: getinfo that'd be useful too.  I'm on the Windows client myself and I'm not seeing anything like this.

IMPORTANT FOR  THOSE WITH ISSUES

COPY OF CHAIN: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7431022/blk0001.rar

great Smiley am giving it a try. see if i have more luck.

///
basic process ::

cos your'e messing with the data directory, dont forget to back up your wallet.dat or at least be very careful

to use this copy of the chain, you need to remove various files.
under linux here's my folder contents before the process, the files that need to be deleted are underlined. ( i re-arranged them out of alphabetical order for my ease of underlining).
(linux the folder is ~/.ExclusiveCoin  and in windows it should be in %appdata%\ExclusiveCoin i think)

blk0001.dat      db.log     txleveldb
database
      ExclusiveCoind.pid     debug.log
peers.dat         wallet.dat      ExclusiveCoin.conf

then the downloaded blk0001.rar will need to be un-rar, creating a new blk0001.dat.
-->>this needs to be renamed as bootstrap.dat

then wehn you run the qt/wallet it will read the bootstrap rather than downloading the chain.
this can take an extended duration.
i believe in a qt you can open it, and watch the block count fly up. running a daemon i think generally makes it inaccessible til the process has completed.

.
note,, i find that wallets can quit or seize up during the process before the whole chain is imported.
you can either do the whole process again (deleting the folders/files again), or restarting it, let it continue from where it got up to.

What's your resource usage look like around the time it seizes up?

COPY OF CHAIN: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7431022/blk0001.rar

but it will work with old chain - no need to redownload.

important thing: do not use nodes from old .conf [not sure which are updated]
use our seednode: seed.exclusivecoin.pw

you dont need .conf file at all - its all hardcoded.
