Thanks for trying to help guys and I did read all the previous posts. I just can't get it to work. Now I get minerd isn't recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I tried using minerd -a x11 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minerpools.com:4705 -u exclusiveteam.Chris -p 1 -t 1
my mistake -a X11     https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lovjqc01mozhhah/AACHXlVKP8IgMK6ISsxnbFKEa?dl=0  download this,put into folder

I'm new to all of this and still trying to figure all of this out. Can someone tell me what I should have after -a?
minerd -a x11 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minerpools.com:4705 -u exclusiveteam.Chris -p 1 -t 1

  -a= algorithm  example:x11, scrypt, x13.....
-t= number of threads/cores  example: if you have Processor
i5-4200H
# of Cores    2
# of Threads 4
you can use -t 6,  but I would use only 4, 2 or even 1,,  test how much hash gives every -t 6,5,4,3,2,1

So what is the option after -a supposed to be?

example: minerd -a x11/dakrcoin/bitblock/etc. -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minerpools.com:4705 -u exclusiveteam.Chris -p 1

Thanks!

I don't understand why I have such a hard time setting up my miner. I am using the suggested .bat file from the excl.minerpools pool, but I get the following error message when I start the miner: minerd: unknown algorithm -- ' t-'

The .bat file I am trying to use is: minerd -a -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minerpools.com:4705 -u exclusiveteam.Chris -p 1

What am I missing?

Thanks

The -a command (algorithm) is missing its option, so it thinks the -t is what you are feeding it.

I'm not very familiar with minerd, but i think you should add algo after -a paremeter
example: minerd -a x11/dakrcoin/bitblock/etc. -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.minerpools.com:4705 -u exclusiveteam.Chris -p 1

Sure you want to mine x11 with CPU ? Thats quite unusual as it is not worth anymore, you should use GPU's for that.

The .bat file from minerpools is missing the algo, look here:

https://excl.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

you'd need to use minerd -a x11 -t 6 ...

Suprnova is up - sorry for the delay. I'm pumping some hash in too and lowered the fees to 0 % for the first hours to compensate.

tnx oc
