30% loss in one day. I'll give it another hour then I'm tapping out. Bye bye crypto. NOT again, at least not in this lifetime.
nobody should invest in crypto if not ready to lose 30% in one day. It has happened today, it has happened in the past, and it will happen again
I got like 8% margin left, I wish someone would dump 10,000 fct to put me out of my misery.
Hang in there and live to trade another day! I too took out margin on this fella and got my ass kicked too. I finally hit my pain point after some forced liquidations and dumped it. I went short and closed out mostly in the .0023's. That helped shore up some losses, but not all, to be sure. Anyway, anything can happen in crypto, but what a day!
I think the communication has been crappy but I don't have high expectations for a new company. They don't go to work each day thinking how they can continue to prop up our account balances, and it's not their duty to. GrossBit has been right about a lot of things. We can't fall into group think, or as he calls it, circle-jerks. Thanks for that visual.
Anyway, fundamentals are still the same with FCT. The forced liquidations on this one are mighty and I would wager that explains why the sell-off got more brutal on this one than many others. BTC still has some room to run until hitting the summer high. Once that cools off then hopefully we'll see some green in the alts again.
I started falling in love with the idea of holding FCT long term. Part of me still wants to...I see the long term and it looks beautiful. This trade has reminded me once again about dangers of falling in love with a coin/stock. These things fly and fall. That's just reality. If you take too many falls then you're an idiot, but good for you to remain loyal if that's what you care about when you are broke. As an example, I got in on the VIA ICO a few years ago. It flew and I was up 10x. I thought I was king. Then it started dropping, dropping, dropping. I planned to hold it forever but eventually dumped it. It's been coming up lately but it dropped to practically nothing. Guess I'm just saying it pays to be vigilant and be honest with yourself, no sense going down with the ship unless you are captain.
And with that, I'm thinking hard about starting up a starter long...back in the .0023s again.
