"separation of public and staging testnets."  - Can someone explain what that means?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not a programmer, but I believe when you have a public testnet, you still want a second testnet the programmers and QA people can work on.  That way, as the public testnet finds bugs, they can be fixed on the staging net and QA folks can test those fixes before that version is pushed to the public testnet for further testing

Factom received in the last few months 4+4 million Dollar including Tim Draper as a VC. Im sure that Factom will deliver  Wink

I agree. The main issue ATM is communication. Factom certainly isn't the only project with communication problems, but ... Tiana stating in a 10/14 interview that a new product would be released in the next week, and then no release, and no comment from Factom, really isn't how to run things. I'm still as bullish as ever—I believe they have the tech, the market, and the team. But, even more than missed deadlines, the failure to communicate adequately with the public is concerning, and has repercussions beyond temporary market instability.

"Took longer than expected, we're now aiming for X ..." would do the trick. But silence breeds pestilence (aka trolls and FUD), which isn't helpful for anyone—investors, potential developers, clients, etc. Code is king, but it's not an island unto itself—it exists in a wider dynamic, and that dynamic is what ultimately determines success IMO.

TL;DR: I would appreciate a comment from Factom on why the new product announced by Tiana on 10/14 for release "next week" was not released.

perhaps you are slowly waking up to reality ? about Factom lies and misrepresentations ?

look at what the market is telling you

Grossbit aka troll.. go back to your hole. Very simple, bitcoin rising, zcash hype.. Factoids are not alone.. all alts getting crushed. Wake up dude!

I agree with your analysis indeed. its not a Factom thing, i was indeed trolling this time.

I have been saying in my previous posts that Factom could go down to 0.0025 or even 0.0015. and we don't need any bad news from Factom for that. Just a little help from a rising BTC or a global bearish alt market suffices.
but perma-bulls saying : "0.0035 ? impossible never in our life again..."

there is no price manipulation. If indeed, you think the price is too low, the right thing to do is to buy now, instead of complaining on the forum

What would life be like without the Grossbit's in the world.

90% of coins are in the red today.
This is a great time to pick up some cheap alts.
Personally, I just transferred some funds and will buy a few additional Factom.

More than 250k FCT traded during this down move, about 5% of the free trading float. I would suspect much of this was margin liquidation from longs above .004 but at this point its hard to tell considering plenty of morons dumped their alts to buy Zcash.

Too funny.  You are probably right.  MY margin account was over 55%, and 1 hour ago,  Polo sent me a message stating I was dangerously close to a margin call.  I didn't check just how close, I couldn't transfer extra fct into my margin account fast enough.  A shit altcoin almost brought my account to a screeching halt, go figure.  But people who didn't have that extra 15%+ wiggle room probably got margin called.  So you are correct.

Arbitrage gap seems to have almost closed. No more option to buy low in China and sell high on Polo. Now we ll see what way the price ll actually move.

Draper basically gave them a blank check.  You don't write those willy nilly.

I agree. But not sure what it has to do with my post.

I hate to say it but it's not just the BTC rise, confidence that Factom will deliver is starting to suffer...

I agree, anytime there is a big buy order it gets slammed...no hesitation to sell.

Video from money 2020 are pretty bad, they just look like blockchain consultant company, there is absolutly no use comming for the factoid token.
Play the bounce can be nice, but no confidence on long term in Factom imo

When you see that you dump your factoids  Grin
