I'm having difficulty withdrawing TIPS from bter.com I downloaded the wallet from www.fedoracoin.xyz and I think that is the wrong wallet ...is that site for the new TIPS?
The link from bter.com to download a TIPS wallet is not legit...the site doesn't load: www.fedoraco.in....tried it without www, etc.
When I tried to withdraw from bter.com it pends the withdrawal and then confirms it a few minutes later. So, either it isn't really sending it to my wallet or my wallet is simply the
wrong one.
Any help I can get is appreciated.

If you want bter tips wallet ,You can join QQ 463563709 group,Ask for wallet,But i think ,No worth to withdraw ,China users give up bter tips.They already withdraw more tips from bter and swap to other coin.They lost time to resolve 51 % attack problem,So had to give up.
It seems like China was a silent key player in Fedoracoins [TIPS] rise & demise, it's like they actually used the coin for tipping for fun while on their unique messaging services and chatrooms but non-english users never heard of it being used like that, maybe a language barrier ?

To increase TIPS awareness, it is better to organize campaigns like other coins do. That will help to spread.
U mean ask for donations in exchange for live previews of the infographics for and premium hot line slack chat with live updates.
I think he meant like banner, twitter, facebook etc campaigns.

Tips has always been very popular until that fork thing. It will take time but the new tips will succed. At some point bter will need to go for the new bc. During that time its accummulation time for new tips. I could see new tips at 400 ltc-santoshi at some point, thats 100times higher than now. It already happend. Some guys might remember... goodluck:-)

I see it the same when looking at the nethash rate. I will try the new tips to mine.just ordered 136mh being delivered this week. Ready to mine. Thinking already to buy the 280mh machine as well. Have to admit that i also mine old tips. Old forked chain = bter

I still have the feeling that investing now in new tips could be livetime chance. The lower the exchange rate on bter the higher the chance that also bter will switch to the new chain. Just my opinion. For me I keep mining bter tips for a nice profit and exchange em over at nova for new tips. We could 100fold....

Yes. The old chain works better for profit (but this is a personal opinion.), it looks like someone tries to push it down atm. on Bter. Can be mined on Hash to Coins. So you have to watch which chain you are on.
Did the first fedoracoin fork into two separate chains, only one of which is trading on bter? What exchange is the non-bter fork trading on, and why didn't the longest chain win?

Ahmed aka mrbodz kindly provided a new wallet source based on latest Feathercoin sources that uses ACP,
advanced checkpointing which counters this possible attack vector. Actually the new wallet would use the same blockchain as before,
but would refuse to accept series of blocks that orphanize large numbers of previous (honestly) mined blocks.
So as soon as the first attack started the new and improved wallet forked and stuck to the blocks of honest miners.
Is bter refusing to upgrade to the new attack resistant wallet and its forked chain?

I agree with this but, I also realize that ANYTHING that draws attention is good at this point so, good luck with the gambling site!
Not the biggest fan of gambling, although the world be built of wagering of ones thoughts of an outcome & might be a vital key to the world.
