We are open to suggestions as we are still in alpha development stage. What would you feel a good re-target time would be?

Given my experience with SHA256 launches, most recently with BADcoin, expect this to be instamined with huge hashrate on launch, then abandoned once the difficulty is astronomically high, resulting in a forever-stalled blockchain, as you can never attract 6 hours' worth of that amount of hashrate again to move forward with solving blocks and bring the difficulty back down.

Consider a faster diff retarget, or a change in algorithm, or both.
