The price is moving up nicely..maybe this time we will get a nice rise.. the chart looks good.
FLDC, along with EGC, got mentioned in a bitcoin meetup in the Netherlands on the 9th of this month. A friend of mine shared this picture with me and I thought I would share it here for the FLDC community.
The topic of the presentation was the negative impacts of cryptocurrency in regards to, what some would consider, wasteful use of electricity. FLDC was mentioned as one of the projects trying to better this.
I was honored to see EGC mentioned alongside FLDC. Keep up the great work FLDC!
Thanks for letting us know! It is also what attracted me to this project. the low impact on the environment combined with the high impact on health.

Has monthly meeting happened for this month? If so where can i find the write up summary?
It did happen, but there was no real write up of it. The main thing is that we're getting close to having a new lead developer and we're still working on things like the folding rewards. You can see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUP6e_MnXog

no increase in 2017, I wish there was a major update of the dev
The January FLDC payout went out in the evening on Saturday Feb 4th (First Saturday of each month). There's also a countdown timer on the website for the next distribution.

Is the loyalty program still a thing? If not i suggest an announcement be made in the upcoming daily meeting. If it is when will payments start? It has been on hold since august of 2015.
Our aim is to do it automatic once we have the stats fully running. We'll discuss it at the meeting again.

Well look at the price swings. Bitcoin is rallying and most altcoins are falling back but for some reason foldingcoin goes up 50%. In the past when bitcoin has rallyed FLDC price has stayed at the 100 sat range.
The same seems to be happening to Curecoin I noticed. In my opinion steady growth over long periods is always better.

For those buying fldc on poloniex...be careful. There is some serious market manipulation going on, some whale is artificially inflating the price. I have had my suspicions for weeks now but today confirmed. If you buy at >100 sats you will probably lose money. Wait for price to come down and grow naturally

Now that price has increased maybe budget should be redone?
I second that. Maybe finances should be re-allocated or organized differently, especially in the light of global world events which are expected to have a bearing on the state of Protein production in the PHASE 2 or whatever the phase number is. By global events I mean physical destruction of US central bank by Godzilla and rise of btc.
if US central bank will be destroyed by Godzilla, BTC is the last thing you will need to worry about...
