Ok, I spun up another server and setup a load balanced environment. This should greatly help the latency on the pool.
Might take a little time for the load to spread out but this should take care of the slow page load times and keep the pool up in case of one of the servers dying.

I've been mining on http://pool.friendshipcoins.com for a few hours now and got lots of unconfirmed but no confirmed anyone else seeing the same?
they take too long to confirm. but you don't have to worry.
They sure do and I hope you're right, I've been mining there flat out for about 5 hours and none are confirmed as yet...
it's fine. I mined for a few hours in the beginning and it took forever to get them confirmed. But what was in the unconfirmed amount became confirmed. So don't need to worry.
