I have a lot better hashrate on solo than on pool.
Is the reported hashrate by the miner can be not as good on real than the hash reported by the miner ?

is mining solo any better than pool mining, or is it just larger variance in payout?

wrong version of sgminer. as you can see, it's using other kernel instead of scrypt-n. Find a compatible one.
I'm use this sgminer : https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer

here is what they write
Code:
#### ckolivas
46
47 The original Colin Percival `scrypt` kernel, maintained for a long time by
48 Con Kolivas in `cgminer` and renamed to reflect the fact.

which version do you recommend?
I use 5.5.5 on windows.

This is one of the most profitable coins to mine, I'm making almost $3 a day mining on my laptop with about 100kH/s right now (NVIDIA Quadro 1200M GPU), I think pool mining with any GPU is probably worth it

Hi to all!
I'm trying to run sgminer:

Code:
sgminer --gpu-platform 0 --algorithm scrypt-n --nfactor 11 -o stratum+tcp://eu.stratum.garlicpool.org:3333 -u yankyan.rig1 -p x -I 14

after start I get the problem: many invalid nonce hw error.

Code:

I believe if your project very interesting, i think many investors will invest in this project. GARLICOIN indeed very good. ok i'm interested following development this project. good luck guys.
The one need more time to prove its performance, to release real product for users, customers, etc. Time will select good projects.

Well, there is the possibility to spend GRLC directly on Dominos and some other delivery service gift card. Can't find the post right now, but it was on reddit a few days ago.

Regarding the airdrop: The dev made an announcement on discord that the airdrop may take place this sunday if there are no further technical issues.

Edit: Found the shop which offers buying gift cards using garlic: https://grlc.pizza/

I fixed all my issues.

I got an i7 7700k and my cards are doing very well now.

Also I am using https://github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/ this version that improves my hashrate a lot!

And I followed this instructions on how to setup script to auto restart stuck miner http://jkcrypto.com/automatically-restart-mining-if-stopped/

Very happy now.

This is the best I can do.. I wish I had my problems solved earlier I would have prob mined double of what I have now.

I have a question: is the number of TX to a single adress in Electrum limited to a number of receives? currently mining to a single Adress and had 1500 TX to it. Had similar amount un XVG-Electrum-Wallet and there i had a huge problem to withdraw coins from it, because the tx would be to huge or the fee was extremely (compared to normal 0.1 to finaly 17.4)? And if this is an issue, what should be done to continue mining?
Garlicoin fees aren't significant at the moment but Garlium does set a minimum when it comes to fees for outgoing transactions. I would recommend tweaking the settings so you can adjust fees manually in order for you to set it to minimum. Garlicoin blocks time is set to 40 seconds and there aren't many transactions now anyway so minimum fee should do it. I don't think you'd face the same problem with Garlicoin. I also have thousands of transactions to my addresses from mining but the maximum fee I'd have to pay was like 0.05 GRLC.

What do you think about adding a private key to a web wallet? Maybe via an additional password. If the site stops working, we could import key into core wallet.

This would definitely increase security.
But still, the safest way to store your precious garlic is using the full wallet. It's pretty easy to setup as there are plenty of tutorials available. https://pandawanfr.github.io/GarlicRecipes/
The second most secure way would be the usage of Garlium which is almost as easy to use as it can be.

When using garlium I recommend manually adding the following two nodes in order to ensure a stable connection:
electrum.garlicsoup.xyz. 50002
electrum.garli.co.in 5000
