I've recently filed a support ticket with Cryptopia Exchange to see if they can also assist us with the upcoming blockchain upgrade. It would be great to keep them as a marketplace for $GEO. I look forward to hearing back from them.
I really don't think that it will be a problem for cryptopia to assist the swap. Let see what happen.

So far we only have Bittrex as confirmed to assist with the blockchain upgrade. I'm trying to coordinate with Cryptopia to see if they can also assist with the upgrade on their end. Finally swap is happening. Good step towards future improvements. Thanks GeoCoin devs and bittrex for making it happen.
Although I don't like bittrex at all and I wont be trading there anymore, this is really good news and I'm sure the price will seek a new time high very soon, specially with such a low supply the coin is still extremely undervalued.
The supply will remain small after the swap. This coin actually had really high inflation rate due to PoW mining. After the switch, there will be 0 inflation as mining will no longer be needed.
What is the actual idea behind Geocoin? Is it meant to be a competitive game or can merchants, for example, buy and place Geocoins in their stores and incentivize people to go there or something like that?
