No, because it will become a token : as it uses the Ubiq blockchain, the GEO platform uses the mining power of Ubiq miners.

The current GEO will be swapped over to the new UBQ GEO token. After this point all the newly 'minted' GEO will be dropped onto the map and can be collected via the GeoCashing interface. There will not be a sale of GEO tokens.

Exactly what does everybody believe will happen following the final airdrop? Isn't high price during the last months much more of a reflection of everybody trying to purchase to achieve much more GBYTE? When there are no much more airdrops in the future, it might come WAY down to a more realistic cost to complement it's coin provide? Difficult to tell.
