This is all very confusing to be honest... -___-
GLIDE trading on C-cex is actually GlideSEC right?

GlideCOIN is not launched yet, right?

Correct, Glide is GlideSEC, the NXT asset that is trading on C-CEX. GlideCOIN is not yet launched but will initially be an NXT asset for distribution purposes, however it will be swappable for an actual coin that will have a blockchain of its own. However, you need to have your GlideSEC in an NXT-based wallet (such as SAE) in order to receive the NXT-asset GlideCOIN that will be distributed to holders of GlideSEC in their wallets that they will hold until the actual GlideCOIN wallets are made available.

Thanks, things are starting to get a little clearer. C-Cex is under maintenance with the Glide/NXT wallet tho, right? I'm thinking I can't move my Glide to SAE before thats fixed?

I don't understand much about that NXT that need to be sent as well and how exactly do I move my Glide (which I think is Glidesec) from c-cex to SAE.

Its not too difficult, just give it a go. You will need to purchase NXT from C-CEX before you can send your GlideSEC to SAE. NXT assets (like GlideSEC) move on the NXT blockchain so you have to pay the transaction fee to be able to initiate the transaction. I edited my post above some to make it more clear, have a look. I am logging off for the night but there will be others who might be able to help you if you need more assistance.

Ok, I got some Glide here on c-cex. How do I transfer them to "SAE"? Or am I missing something?
What do I need to do?

I'm trying to understand this but there's a huge chunk of information. What can I do with this coin/asset? Is there dividends I can earn from it?
Can someone explain this to me in a simple way?

Thanks a lot!

Running your own NXT node is the best-case scenario, but having an NXT wallet on the SAE works too if you don't want to spend hours downloading the blockchain. Head over to https://trade.secureae.com/ and click Sign Up to create an account. Pay attention to the signup steps because there is a wallet address, a wallet identifier, and a password that all need to be saved. Keep in mind you will need NXT to send anything out of an NXT-based wallet (GlideSEC is an NXT asset). The tx fee is generally 1 NXT per tx whenever NXT or NXT assets are sent from SAE or C-CEX.

The address you get when signing up at SAE will hold NXT as well as any NXT based assets such as GlideSEC.

GlideSEC pays weekly dividends in the form of NXT to the NXT address where the GlideSEC is held. Many assets pay some form of dividend. Also, on Saturday, GlideCOIN is going to be distributed to holders of GlideSEC in the form of a bearer-asset that will be redeemable for actual GlideCOIN when the wallets become available as per ActualUpsurge (who is the GlideSEC manager).

I hope that helps.

Head over to https://trade.secureae.com/ and click Sign Up to create an account. Pay attention to the signup steps because you need to create a username and the passphrase will be automatically generated for you - which is safe but must be saved exactly, spaces and all. Its a good idea to write down your address once you get logged in, then log out and log back in to make sure you got the right passphrase before doing any transactions.

Keep in mind you will need NXT to send anything out of an NXT-based wallet (GlideSEC is an NXT asset). The tx fee is generally 1 NXT per tx whenever NXT or NXT assets are sent from SAE or C-CEX or any NXT wallet for that matter.

Hey dev/guys

Just wondering when C-Cex will complete maint on the GLIDEsec wallet. I'm ready to transfer my GLIDEsec to my NXT asset account. If the dev could follow up with this, that would be great.

Thank you,

Kyle

How will your capitol be divided?
Currently the capitol will be divided up into the following methods of positive return.

ActualUpsurge, In the ANN, you have put the wrong word many times.

Capitol means a building occupied by a state legislature.

Capital is the word you are looking for.
Capital means assets available for use in the production of further assets.

So you should make the ANN say the correct word, capital is the correct word.

Now then.

Originally dividends were every Wednesday and Sunday, then we had Friday and now it looks like Saturday. Whilst there isn't necessarily anything wrong with altering the payment date, given the requirement for many holders to transfer Glide off the exchange to their NXT wallet in advance, a degree of consistency where possible would probably be appreciated.

I'm not clear as to whether those participating in the GlideSec to GildeCoin exchange will lose their GlideSec in the transaction or whether they will then own both assets afterwards.

I'm also not clear as to whether GlideCoin holders will receive dividends or whether these will after the exchange only continue to be payable to GlideSec holders.

If, as has been stated, GlideSec dividends will be used to support the GlideCoin price on exchanges, will this mean a reduced dividend for those still holding GlideSec if some of the funds are being used to support the GlideCoin price?

It may be that the specifics will all be revealed prior to the exchange taking place (or have already been confirmed in which case apologies for the oversight) but as the exchange is only a few days away, it would be helpful I'm sure for investors to have answers to these points to consider before making a decision.

I've read elsewhere in this thread, or maybe the Glidecoin thread, that the coin and the asset will co-exist. I'm not clear on how they will interact however so I'd appreciate some clarification too. Have a look through ActualUpsurge's posts for the coin/asset info.

just to clarify, the burn has not taken place yet - it will take place at the same time of divs on Saturday, and also the Glidecoin distribution.

Its gearing up to be a big day!
